When Rondo is healthy and able to play later this season, I suggest the Celtics trade the last member of their 2008 championship team to officially rebuild. I thought of this 4 Way blockbuster trade involving the Celtics, Knicks, Bucks, and Nuggets

Celtics acquire: Iman Shumpert, Brandon Knight, Quincy Miller, Knicks’s 2014 1st round pick, and Amare Stoudemire

Knicks acquire: Rondo, Gerald Wallace, Courtney Lee, and Brandon Bass

    Bucks acquire: Raymond Felton

    Nuggets acquire: MarShon Brooks

This deal works financially, I tried it on the ESPN Trade Machine. ton ton

They clear a ton of cap space giving up those guys to the Knicks, and could save more by using the amnesty provision on Amare

You can’t Amnesty a trade player.

This trade and losing Rondo makes them worse, not closer to a championship.

Amare could not be amnestied if traded.

Why are the bucks moving Knight for Felton?

I know Dolan is crazy but the way the Knicks are going why would you move a 2014 first rounder. That could be a top 10 pick.

This is the deepest draft since 2008, if the Celtics do worst, that’s not a bad thing….If they miss out on Wiggins, Randle, or Parker, they can replace Rondo with Marcus Smart or Dante Exum…The Bucks aren’t high on Knight, and their not tanking, so Felton makes sense. This trade gives the Knicks heart, depth, better defense, better rebounding, and a real floor general. Nuggets lack a legit starting 2 guard, Brooks could fill it up

The knicks pick goes to Denver this year,  unprotected.

How they throw in picks, cash, exceptions, and etc they will work it out, but those players are the key components to the deal

Tank and get a top 3 pick would help.  I really don’t see how trading Rondo helps them long term, unless they just get a ridiculous return.

Get some money off their books for next year, sign a big time free agent, build around Rondo, Green, Olynyk, and Sullinger, and hope they get a top pick in the draft.

The bucks like Brandon knight that would be the reason they traded for him he has just been hurt all year so he isn’t going anywhere especially for felton. you have to remember knight is 21.
