Next superstar player on the high school level?

my question to everyone is who they think will be the next superstar talent to come from the current high school level, not including the current college players. my opinion is thon maker, because of his combination of size, legnth, high skill level, overall athleticism. i think he will be able to get up to about 240 or 250 by the time he reaches the nba. who is everones pick for next superstar talent in high school?

I’m very high on Stephen Zimmermann and Ivan Rabb… Thon is a phenom but i want to see him get stronger than now- Giles is very good as well so like Ayton and Cody Riley.

Not really going out on a limb but I think Jahil Okafor will become one of the best big men in the league. Hopefully he continues to grow but time will tell if he is able to live up to his potential.

Josh Jackson Plays like a college Small forward right now as a high school sophomore.
I really like Kelly Oubre Jr. as well. Seen him in person twice and left the gym really impressed with what I saw.He also just keeps on getting better and better.

  I think Jackson will be a SG. He’s got all the tools to be a dominant scorer while staying on the ball. He’s got a nasty handle with breakdown ability, a quick first step, can shoot off the bounce and is a creative finisher. His shot is streaky and he might need to tweak his release a little bit, but he’s got confidence from outside. He’s also unselfish, has a high IQ and good vision. On top of all that he defends really well too. His game is pretty complete for such a young player. He just needs to put on weight and keep improving his outside shot.
  After him I’d say DeAndre Ayton got next. That kid is a freak. He’s probably the best prospect in all of HS.

  I don’t even think he’s the best PG in his class.

  I like his potential. I have concerns about his frame, high center of gravity and getting pushed around, but he’s made a lot of strides physically since he’s come to the states.
  I just really like Josh Jackson’s game, so he was the first to come to mind because he checks so many boxes already. He has the potential to be a dynamite scorer, primary ball-handler AND good defender. It’s easier for wings and guards to be superstars than bigs these days because they control the ball so much. He’s already a really good ball-handler and I think he has the decision making/playmaking ability to keep the ball in his hands.
  I didn’t even think about the class of 2014. I guess I’ll agree with Mudiay. He’s got superstar potential because of his sheer physical advantages at the PG position, which I think he’ll stay at. I’d like to see him play smarter, more efficiently, more under control and less like John Wall though. As good as he is, he doesn’t really impact his teams as much as you’d figure he would.

Harry Giles actually might have the highest ceiling out of every high school player right now. Scary athleticism from a 15 year old and is a freak to guard at the high school level. Thon Maker is extremely skinny and needs to bulk up and he could be quite something in the league. I like Stephen Zimmerman a lot, could very well be the best Caucasian-American player since Kevin Love. Malik Newman reminds me a lot of Bradley Beal. Great scorer and probably the best player in the 2015 class. A lot of people are saying that Jahlil Okafor will just be another Jared Sullinger. I strongly disagree with that, definitely a true center who actually is coordinated offensively.

  I would like to see how Harry Giles comes back from this gruesome knee Injury. I mean this kid is going to need a ton of Rehab. He tore the ACL along with another knee Ligament and I believe a meniscus. He was well on his way before this injury. Was doing well with USA basketball. And pretty much was the best 2016 kid in the nation. Since then the torch has been passed to Josh Jackson or Thon Maker. You take your pick. I hope Giles can come back and pick up where he left off.

  Did you actually watch Seventh on Team USA? He was super passive and didn’t have much of an impact at all on offense. I wouldn’t describe his feel for the game as good, let alone “ridiculous.”
  He’s currently more of a transition, combo guard than a point guard.

Donovan Mitchell from NYC who currently goes Brewster Academy in the class of 2015 I think will kinda have a coming out party on the circuit this year. He was out much of the AAU sessions last year cause he had broke his wrist but he’s been getting alot of raves lately from people who have visited Brewster workouts. Picked up major offers also.

I like the kid and have seen him a lot in person. He played with the AAU called the The CITY. High major level kid but not a superstar.

The jury is still out on Seventh Woods. Remember John Wall was ranked behind Dexter Strickland at the same stage of the game. His athleticism is simply unteachable and will only get better as his physically matures. I wouldn’t make a decision about him either way.
I am not as big on Mudiay as others. I think he has no limit to his potential, but right now is clearly not as good a player as Tyus Jones.
And I would hold out on Harry Giles until we see him post injury. Had he stayed healthy he’d be far and away number 1 in my book.
I really like Malik Newman! I think he can be a pre-injury Eric Gordon.

im a huge fan of josh jackson as well. what he did against aaron afflolo is extreamly impressive. i have not heard of a 16 year old more than holding there own against a current nba player, and a pretty good defender at that, since kobe did against some of the sixer players. im not saying he the next kobe or anything, but im just extreamly impressed.
