IknoBall12ParticipantI’m watching the Knicks and twolves play right now and this Is a downright ass wooping. I’ve watched them play a couple of games this year and this team looks really good. Klove and Rubio are playing great and JJ barea has been solid as well. I think the most underrated guy on the squad is nikola pekovich tho. Pek does a lot of dirty work and is just a massive man in the paint. What do y’all think of the team and do you think they’ll make the playoffs this year?

HaleParticipantThey are finally healthy+added a legit SG. Dangerous team who should absolutely make the playoffs (IF HEALTHY).

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantThis is the first time I’ve been excited about the team in a long-ass time. They look right now like they can challenge for home court advantage in the West (at least for the first round), they look the best they’ve looked since the KG era. That said, my biggest hope is that they all stay healthy. I’m knocking on every single wooden thing in my vicinity after writing that

aztwulfParticipantRubio went down in March 2012 and didn’t come back until around Christmas last year. He was less than 100 percent even at the end of last season. Love broke his hand, twice, last year and played with a pad on his shooting hand when he did play (and he couldn’t shoot worth a lick with it on). Kevin Martin was playing in OKC and Corey Brewer in Denver. About the only constant is Pek.
The second teamers are about the same, JJ Barea, Cunningham, Shved, DWill.
This is still a pretty young team and they are still getting used to playing with each other. I don’t know if they get to 50 wins, but it is not out of the question.

TallmanNYCParticipantI was lucky and my buddy got tickets so I got to go for the price of beers and snacks during the game. Garden does look a lot nicer since the renovations. Wolves have some serious potential. Those leak outs were crazy. So many look ahead passes up the court by the Wolves that resulted in easy open layups. But Rubio totally imploded in the fourth quarter and the Knicks almost got that one. It helped that I think Bargs didn’t play the fourth and Meta scored nicely. This had the makings of a blowout as the Wolves at one point were up 40 to 19.
Hardaway Jr had a sick dunk. But he missed a ton of open jumpers. I think the Knicks are in for a very tough season.

Jester87ParticipantAdelman is one of the most underrated coach in the league, at least on the offensive side of the court. His teams have always played well and he has player that fit his game style, many guys that can pass it, move without the ball, have court awareness. And, to put it simple, Kevin Love is a superstar. He routinely grabs 15 rebounds and post 30 points like he’s playing against 12 year old kids, in the league with the best and biggest athletes in the world, and he’s pretty unathletic. What he does is simply amazing.

Jester87ParticipantAlso, I forgot to say, the high-five to Spike Lee puts Love among the greatest ever.

scootover7ParticipantI am impressed with the way the Timberwolves are playing. It’s hard not to talk about them. I hope they keep up with the way they are playing. Here is an article about the T-Wolves especially Kevin Love http://probasketballhoopsland.blogspot.com/2013/11/what-do-you-think-about-kevin-love-love.html

PlatypusParticipantI know this is weird and wouldn’t happen i’m bored and just thinking of a crazy idea
Derrick Williams and JJ Barea for Harrison Barnes and Speights
Why for Minny:
Has the front court for the future, Pek, Love, and Barnes with Rubio at the point Barnes would thriveRubio – Martin – Barnes – Love – Pek
Shved – Muhammed – Budinger – Speights – DiengWhy for Golden State:
Its no secret the warriors love to go small ball, this would be a way to play small ball but not be that small having a lineup of
Curry – Thompson – Iggy – Williams – Lee
They could start the floor with Bogut and have Williams as the 6th manCurry – Thompson – Iggy – Lee – Bogut
Barea – Bazemore – Green – Williams – Ezili / O’neil0- Posted on: Mon, 11/04/2013 - 2:30pm #847419

Jester87ParticipantNo way Warriors are playing Lee as a center if they’re not forced by fouls or injuries, or at least not more than 2 minutes and just to give some rest to other players. Seriously, using Lee as a center means allowing your opponents an average of 2 points per possession or even more, especially if one of your players on the court is Curry, who’s a pretty weak one on one defender playing in the most talented position in the game.

DolanCareParticipantI was really impressed with Rubio’s perimeter defense. Raymond Felton was playing scared in the 4th quarter because of Rubio’s pesky arm length.
The wolves are good. I love all of their players. But I do think Love and Pek aren’t the best pairing. As much as I love Pek, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to trade him in order to get a more defensive minded center. I’m not in the mood to dish out trade proposals, but the concept definitely makes sense.
