Even though the Bulls didn’t do well as I thought they would to Miami. What made me feel good about the Bulls were, Carlos Boozer had a very solid game against a top team, 31 pts in 32 mins (hoping he can stay consistent) and at SG even thought he was in foul trouble Jimmy Butler still put up 20pts and had 5 steals. This is something the Bulls have lacked, and what has hindered them from going over the top. I hope Boozer and Butler shine this year.

Bulls did not address their lack of scoring from the shooting guard position. I think Jimmy Butler is better served as a small forward and I know he had 20 but he’s not one to create his own shot or for others. They need a big time #2 option to take the load off Rose.

Bulls should have kept Nate. They need someone else who can create shots and take the pressure of Rose.

I not only thought they should have kept Nate, they should have kept Bellinelli as well.

I know it’s been written plenty of times, but I think the Bulls should trade Luol Deng to NO for Eric Gordon. I think that’s a deal that helps both teams.

The Pelicans are a young team, plus they have a hole at the three. Deng is a veteran and plays both ends of the floor, which Monty Williams will appreciate. This trade would also clear up the log jam the Pelicans have at the two.

The Bulls get another explosive guard who can create his own offense or catch and shoot. Gordon also plays both ends of the floor. Derrick Rose loves Deng, but I think he’d welcome Gordon, since the two are close friends. The trade also puts Gordon back in the Midwest, where he’s comfortable.

    Win win for both teams.
