drk3351ParticipantFor those that weren’t aware he is now on the Suns as he got dealt in the Luis Scola trade from Indiana. And in today’s game vs. the Blazers which is right now 8:00 in the 3rd quarter, he started and has a double-double. 18 points, 12 rebounds, 2 blocks, 8-11 FG. A little hope for this guy? What do you guys think? A lucky game, or someone to look out for, or both? box score: http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400488888

bigblackNbeautifulParticipantJust scooped him up in fantasy just in case. It wont always be this huge of a double double but i could see him averaging 10/10 with 1.5 blocks on the year if he gets 30 mins a game.

phila9012ParticipantThat sounds reasonable. I think his best spot would be playing 20 minutes off the bench for a top 5 to 8 team in the league.

Chilbert arenasParticipantGood to see someone everyone wrote off now producing. It’s one game but he has the ability and more importantly the opportunity. Len didn’t impress anyone and I foresee that #5 pick haunting the Suns in the future.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI’ll be surprised if he averages a double-double for the year..8 to 12 pts/7 rbs sounds more like it for the season…
The Suns Up & Down style of play is perfect for what he has to offer a team..Becuz he plays with great energy, good athlete, plays hard, runs the floor and he’s always in attack mode…….
As we’ve seen so many times, playing in an frantic uptempo style, can pad a player’s stats………. Miles has shown some improvement in his game, his his days at Duke..I see him having a career similar to Josh McRoberts….

SiggyParticipantCoach Hornacek didn’t get the memo I presume. I guess it’s tough to willingly tank when you’re trying to prove that you belong as a head coach.
After a great summer league, Miles looked pretty pedestrian during preseason despite all the talk of him being the most impressive Suns big in practice. I should’ve known better but that did temper my expectations. I didn’t foresee Gortat getting traded this early for essentially an expiring and a pick. Also, Markieff Morris was out with suspension. That’s around 50 minutes gone from the projected Suns’ big man rotation. Obviously 40 mpg won’t happen every night for Miles. He also won’t be playing the Blazers’ soft front court every night either. Great performance anyway. With Gortat out of the picture and Len being so green, Plumlee will be in line for starters minutes. Low doubles or something like 9/9 seems plausible.
I just wonder if Okafor is actually in the plans for the Suns. I don’t know the extent of his injury and if he does plan to play will the Suns pump and dump him before the deadline?

i’m jus so offendedParticipantI would assume he’ll get some run when he’s healthy as an audition so the Suns can try to get something for him at the deadline

Da1potParticipantHe rebounded as expected and got some easy looks as well. Dragic and Bledsoe both had great games as well. Dragic looks like their 1st option and there is a very good chance for him to average over 20 ppg this year. He is absolutely relentless when attacking the rim. The combo of Dragic and Bledsoe were too much for Lillard and Matthews to defend and that might be the case for most teams playing against the Suns.
I expect the Suns to struggle with perimeter shooting and defense nonetheless, but 52 points in the paint and the 31 fastbreak points are very impressive.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantWord has it that Okafor wont be available until late December or January..The Suns got him to make the numbers work…I doubt if they’ll resign him next summer….
