      Sorry guys just to clarify would anyone here be interested in a keeper/ dynasty league format where we would build franchises and draft rookies etc every year? It would probably be hosted on Yahoo if I had my immediate choice but that could change.
      I thought this format might appeal to the general forum member who loves to follow NBA prospects. We could test our hands at running a team from year to year.
      If so I don’t mind running one or playing in one. My idea would be for the main part standard 9 category (pts, reb, blk, stls, asst, FT%, FG%, TO, 3ptmade) depending on how many teams interested, I was hoping we could get twenty.
      Just give me a shout either way at suddenly_useless at yahoo (canada)

    There has been some talk about getting a league together, so I started a league on ESPN to have a little fun with the season, talk smack, etc.. League is on ESPN and named NBADraft.net, password NBADraft
    16 teams for people who intend to stick with it all year

  I’ve been in your league for the last two years I think (and have done pretty well may I add). The format was great with 20 teams but there was a fair amount of no shows for the whole season which kind of degrades the competition of it. I don’t know how you’d get around that when the team is full of random dudes though.

Well a yearly league is alright but I was hoping that with everyone’s knowledge on here that we could get either a keeper or dynasty league going? I thought some guys here had already started a keeper league a couple years back?

Yeah, the Deadly Fantasy with 20 teams was pretty crazy. Normally in Fantasy when I get to end of a draft I see a bunch of guys left who I think will be major contributors. But in a 20 team league where we are drafting down into the 200+ worst players in the league, you are just hoping the guy gets 20+ minutes a game.
It was an intense deep exercise of trying to find guys who will come on at some point in the season because all the stars are gone by the second round. The rock solid starters who put up stats are gone by fifth round. At that point you are looking at subs or young guys who might take a starting spot.
