i dont get the whole laying pipe thing lol…layin pipe on the court? lol suspecttt, but yea paul pierce is a b*tch for saying that…what a lil b*tch…’idk who jr smith is’ like wtf obviously he knows who he is…i hate how players try to be sarcastic but it just sounds dumb..obviously if u dont know who jr smith is then ur living under a damn rock…and at this point in thier careers i dont think PP has any room to diss JR…cause right now jr smith is better than him

The ” Laying the Pipe” is from when JR Smith was tweeting with a girl. I don’t like seeing this from bleacher report but I have seen it from others so I know its true. Apparently the girl was only 16.

  I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the activity slowed to a crawl as soon as the format was changed.

    I do not think anyone TRIED to make the forum suck this much. What I am fairly sure is happening is that they switched to a new, larger server and are making some changes to the site. When this happens, sometimes the forum takes a hit and goes a tad wonky, ie. flipping from newest to oldest comment.
    Since you rarely if ever post topics, no one can do so right now. Should be back to normal soon, just know that I do not think maintaining an internet site is as easy as some may think. So, sarcasm and cliche taken into account, just know there is maybe a bit more to it than just switching the forum.

      Still I think the administration should have simply made some sort of announcement. Just warn us that something’s going to be up for the next week or so. It wasn’t hard to do.

        Despite only registering in 2011, I’ve been reading this site since at least 2008. From my experience the site almost always gets a bit wonky every year during the off season for about a week. Just last year or the year before there was an almost identical issue of posts showing up out of order, which took about a week to fix if I recall, so give them a couple more days and should be good to go.
        …but if not fixed in a few more days then it’s time to grab your pitchforks & torches!

        Great game! I just beat it last night. I was weary of the whole concept of playing three characters and switching between them but I thought they pulled it off well. If you enjoyed the previous titles you will definitely enjoy this one.

    Maintaining a website is pretty easy, however when it’s a site of this size it’s a nightmare. I can’t even fathom how many thousands of pages of content this website has on it’s servers, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s near a million pages(most websites have less than 20 pages).
    Server upgrades are sometimes inevitable, but are always a good thing. A site of this caliber will take some time to get everything sorted out.
    Honestly though, I’d rather they do it now before the season begins and the activity is already low, than do it during the season. I don’t really get why so many people are complaining, it’s not as if the forum was extremely active right now anyways. The past month there’s been maybe 5-10 new topics a day as opposed to around 30-50 a day during the basketball season.
    Patience goes a long way, and negativity does not help anyone.
