docholliday06ParticipantDavid Lee and #8 to Sacramento for #4 and Kenny Thomas
that way sac can get jennings if he is available……and the knicks get rubio if he is availble0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/16/2009 - 4:28pm #165961

rvirsalParticipantthey’d want to but they don’t have a 2010 first round pick. (not sure bout this). also, can’t trade picks of 2 consecutive years.

Knicksboy34Participantyou gotta do your research 1st.
A- Rubio to NY doesn’t increase LBJ to NY
B- NY does not own a 2010 pick

kjhotshotParticipantwho’s to even say Rubio will be available at #4 anyway? Memphis and Oklahoma City may both choose him, and if that happened the entire trade would be moot.

ZKParticipantDavid Lee and #8 to Sacramento for #4 and Kenny Thomas (expiring before summer of ’10).
That is at least a possibility.

rvirsalParticipantit is possible but then rubio should fall to 4 first. david lee can’t be traded on draft night coz he’s a rfa. i don’t mind if the knicks draft jennings or curry though, they’re still good fits.

boffacheeriosParticipantwhy would sacramento ever want to trade ricky rubio if he just so happened to fall into their laps? Just seems like a waste, they already have thompson, so adding lee is a wash, and then downgrading from rubio to Jennings. I’m not sold.

docholliday06Participantwould be pretty dope with jennings too
