NCarmean18ParticipantLong time NBA veteran Baron Davis has recently tweeted something that many believe is his way of announcing his attempt at an NBA comeback. “Just got a great workout in! #comebacktime #thegameiswhatimmissing”. So obviously, Baron Davis has a passion to play the game that hasn’t quite died yet, and I do think that he could be a productive rotation guard for a championship contending team.
In all honesty, I thought that he was a great lob-passer in Los Angeles, and I would not be opposed to him being a cheap, reserve guard for the Houston Rockets, that can feed lobs to Dwight Howard on that pick-and-roll game. I could also see Davis signing with the Pacers, Knicks, Nets, Thunder, Spurs, Warriors, and maybe even the Lakers. It’s just a tweet, and a comeback is still not in place, but it’s just something interesting to think about.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI don’t think he can make a comeback. The guy is too old and slow to play in today’s game. It isn’t like it used to be. Maybe on a slower team off the bench like Indy but not on some athletic teams, especially a young run-n-gun team like Houston.
Hate to nitpick at your post because it’s informative but:
“I thought that he was a great lob-passer in Los Angeles”To be honest, I think even ProudGrandpa would be a great lob-passer with Griffin and Jordan.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantHe was much more then just a lob passer…Baron Davis will not make the Hall of Fame, becuz he could never stay healthy(During his 14 yr career ,Davis has only played an entire season 4 times)
But he was 1 of the top pgs this past decade…Great hops, competitive, good passer, clutch shooter and he had the ability to take over games…
Davis cant stay healthy, has a problem keeping his weight under control and he has gotten much slower..Surprisingly when he got amnestied by the Cavs in 2011..There were a few teams that were interested in him like the Heat and Lakers..I would not be surprised,if some team takes a gamble on him and he finds his way on someone’s roster..

Chitown Finest2ParticipantDerek Fisher can’t defend, can’t create, and can’t create for others….however He’s now known only for his veteran presence and a spot up corner shooter. If he can find a spot on a contending team I’m sure B.Diddy can play the same veteran role with a young running athletic team that thrive from transition points. lobs, spot up shooters etc
