As a celtics fan, I’m looking at olynk and fab melo. I want to see if melo learned anything from a year of watching kg, I always thought that was going to either make or break melo. I wonder how his understanding of English and the game of basketball has gotten any better.
But as they say you can’t teach size

  agree 100% with you. More so for pressey than any other undrafted guy other than brandon paul form illinois. When pressey decides to be a facilitator he can control the other sides defense. If he plays that way consistently regardless of his size he would have a place in the league atleast until he was 30. His only detriments to much shot jacking and trying to be fancy, on offense. solid defender

Harkless struggling to create his own shot, very right-hand dominant from what I’ve seen thus far.
Pressey (sp?) really forcing it, throwing some very fancy passes.
Olynyk is playing fine, but no better than expected of a four year player IMO, still annoyed with the pick for my Celtics – his arms are REALLY short.
I want to see Melo get involved offensively.

Romero Osby is a big talent. I was surprised he got drafted, but he was a really tough matchup in the Big 12 at Oklahoma. He can post or face up, and he plays hard.

Am I the only one seeing that Melo has terrible timing when jumping for rebounds and questionable hands? I’m starting to think he’ll be another wasted talent, just doesn’t seem switched on out on the court.

Olynyk is clearly offensively talented, especially for his size. He has a place in a spaced/spread offense.

This Is a great game, olynk and oladipo showing out. Harkless had some postitive plays. Pressy looking solid, Colton iverson had some boards and blocks, Andrew Nicholson is playing poorly though.

i think pressey looks good out there. nice game so far if he plays like this the whole summer league, boston should really consider making him the back up go to point behind rondo. He did commit turnovers in which he tried to do too much at missouri. Still, in around 15min of playing the back up, while giving his best, i think he would be put in a position where he had to play smarter. Plus tired of seeing bradley put in a position that everyone can tell he is uncomfortable with.

Olynyk hasn’t looked good on defense, but he has been pretty great on offense. That left-handed scoop floater to beat the shot clock was Steph Curry-esque.
Also, Melo looks pretty bad out there. Just doesn’t have a high B-ball IQ.
For Orlando, Oladipo and and Osby looks good, Nicholson and Harkless, not so much.
