DoubleNickelsDurr55ParticipantShaquille o’neal continues to talk sh*t about D12.
Personally I love it. Shaq speaks the truth, D12 couldn’t handle the bright lights in LA!
I’m pretty tired of talking about and hear about D12 but how does everyone feel about Shaq talking about Dwight? Is it just Shaq trying to stay relevant after his retirement?
D12 to me should listen? he never has to Shaq. If Houston is bad this year and Dwight plays like he did last year you know Shaq will keep killing him.

frogmanParticipantOn a level he is right but his obsession with disregarding Howard is becoming increasingly petty. I’m pretty sure he said Brook Lopez was a better player at one point. There is no conceivable way he actually believes that.

DoubleNickelsDurr55ParticipantI think when Dwight started calling himself superman, Shaq took it personal and ever since he has been killing him. Has Dwight ever replied to Shaq? I think I remember once.
I guess if i were Dwight i would listen to arguably the best center of all time.

omphalosParticipantI love that Shaq has started mentoring Cousins, I hope he can turn him into a real monster and dethrone Dwight as #1 C in the NBA.

Ghost01ParticipantEverything Shaq says is for personal gain. One of the most dominant forces this league has ever seen and left 2-3 titles on the table.

HitsterParticipantShaq was a better player than D12 will ever be, so why would Shaq worry about him. But if Shaq is trying to mentor DMC then that could be huge for if he can focus DMC then the potential is huge.

DoubleNickelsDurr55ParticipantThat’s why I said arguably. Everyone has different opinions about Shaq, he is in his own category for big man as far as his career and all of his antics during his playing days and after.
No other center is like him on either side. I don’t think this league will ever see a big man like him again.

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantShaq is stunningly immature, and a horrible analyst. He has already cemented his place as one of the all-time greats at center, he has no need to talk trash about other players. Also, in calling Houston a “small town”…he is aware that Houston is the 4th largest city in the US, right? Lmao

Ghost01ParticipantI hope to god they move him off TNT. They won’t, because he’s Shaq, but he really ruins the best Sports pre/post game show.

BenchWarmerParticipantI think Howard left because of Kobe to be honest. And that fact the team was pretty dysfunctional

DoubleNickelsDurr55ParticipantGlen— great points. When he does talk it seems like he still has that players mentality. But Shaq will never not say whats on his mind, no matter how off the wall he is. People love it and people hate it.
Rude boy — you think Dwight will match Shaq with the rainbow? That’s pretty funny.
My thing about Shaq is i am one of those people that love his honesty. Albiet immature for an all time great. I’m just sick of all the Dwight talk and how ESPN for the past two years have been nothing but that.
Glad it’s over, on with my young celtics
