    With Andre Iguodala off the market and Josh Smith still debating, the pistons are calling the boston celtics about Rondo. http://www.mlive.com/pistons/index.ssf/2013/07/what_theyre_saying_detroit_pis_14.html I love Rondo style of play (especially during playoffs) because he knows how to run a team and he can do almost everything well.(reb.,play hard, dfense, be a floor general, etc). Rondo would be a nice duo to Drummond but its just two concerns I have: 1.Rondo’s reputation as a ‘Diva’ 2. The Acl tear. 3. Who would we give up?

    Rondo isn’t going to Detroit. He’ll probably retire before even thinking about playing for them. Sorry just the way it is…

    As a Detroit fan, PLEASE no. One the addition of Rondo would further the cause of us losing our 2014 draft pick. Second if we trade for Rondo we would most likely have to give up Monroe or Drummond. Third, Rondo is not exactly the best person to have in the locker room. Especially with a new coach like Mo Cheeks. Just ask Doc Rivers. Fourth of all, it has been a very very long time Rondo since Rondo has finished off a season without an injury. He is injury prone. I seriously hope this does not happen.

      Joe Dumars, would not give up Andre Drummond for Rajon Rondo. No GM in their right mind would, esp. after the ACL tear.

    I’d like to see rondo go. Joe Dumars just might pull that trade though, he’s made smart moves back in 2004. Since then who knows.

    I’m also from Michigan so i wouldn’t want rondo on that team. Send rondo to Toronto, haha.

    He is going to be in trade rumors until he is traded or the trade deadline. Then he will be back in them at the draft until he is gone or resigns

    If you don’t want him on your team. Ray Allen the only teamate that’s ever had issues with him. Ray destroyed Reggies record with Rondo’s help. Thats what he does. Make guys appear better like Bass. He gets guys overpaid too. Interesting what the media and a story spin does to people. Foolish. Guy puts up historical numbers and is a proven winner. His teamates like him. He was as smart as Doc, maybe smarter. Was Doc as good or smart as Rondo is now? No. Doc was a good coach but stubborn. Rondo is a brainiac. That’s kind of known. Stevens and Rondo should both figure it out to maximize the teams play. Rondo will be 10 months into his rehab and Danny says he is planning on Rondo starting game 1.

    rondo is one of my two favorite players… so obviously I would be wowed if we got him… doubt its gnna happen but who knows
