SG Kobe/Meeks
SF Barnes/MWP
PF J. Hill
C Gasol/Bogut/Sacre
10 players
4 additional players to be signed on 1 year deals
Nick Young is an option
Darius Morris could resign
After next season when Kobe takes less, Gasol move on.
You have Nash, Barnes, and Kobe and possibly some draft picks.
Lakers will get some big name player and be back on top of things.

  Don’t hate on Swaggy P he gave us Sixers fans the most exciting 20 foot turnaround fadeaway jumpers from behind the back board with 17 seconds left on the shot clock a fan could possible ask for.

    He did actually play better than I thought he would based on his rep. He had some nice defensive plays and we all know he can get hot from deep. He isn’t a terrible player but he isn’t anything that Laker fans should be excited about either.

      Nick Youngs NBA career went down the tube in March of this year when he was given the starting gig and he played so poorly that Damien Wilkens beat him out. 4 out of the final 5 games in march he went for 6 0 3 & 5 on 3/23 shooting. 15 DNP’s out of 17 games in April
      It worries me that Nick Young couldn’t hold down a starting spot during a stretch where Philly went 5 and 16 and 33 year old Damien Wilkins beat him out for the remainder of the season.

        That had more to do with Doug Collins man crush with older role players who arguably ain’t even NBA material then Nick Youngs ability. Damien Wilkins had no bussiness starting last year.

Lakers are limited and I can’t believe Howard would rather go to Houston than go to GSW. Lakers would have accepted a sign and trade for Barnes, Bogut, and picks. GSW would be a better fit and team with Howard then Houston.

Lakers aren’t screwed really because except for Nash everyone is off the cap. This may work out of their favor because they can sell Howard leaving to fans as they reload. Bryant also will not have to rush back. After a year off Kobe will be even better physically and they can reload with no bad contracts.
