The Wizards are looking to make the Playoffs while Philly has gone in rebuild mode so I thought of a small trade. John wall is wanting a PF running mate with him on the team so this should be good for both teams.

Trevor Ariza (last year of contract) and a 1 or 2 second rounder’s for Thad Young.

    Wizards line up

Starters: John Wall, Bradley Beal, Otto Porter, Thaddeus Young, Nene Hilario
Back ups: Eric Maynor, Martell Webster, Chris Singleton, Kevin Seraphin, Emeka Okafor
    Glen Rice Jnr. etc

Thad Young is crazy underrated and would fit well with just about any team. He can’t make a jumpshot consistently but every other aspect of his game is great. I would hate to see Thad go because he is the heart and soul of the Sixers. I really want him to stick around to help them turn it around…he is the type of guy that younger guys can learn from. He plays hard every night and has gotten the most out of his talent. It wouldn’t be a bad deal since they are rebuilding but they literally might not win a game if they trade Thad Young for Ariza.

Not bad but i doubt the Wizards would give a 1st rounder

I don’t want the Sixers to trade Thad yet he’s criminally underrated. I wanna see what him and Turner will do given the keys to the team. Thad could potentially explode for nearly 20 a game.

I know somebody has to score for the Sixers but I can’t see Thad scoring much more than 18 a game. They rarely if ever have run plays for him but that is because he isn’t a great shooter and not the best post player either. He is a great face up 4 going left and using his quickness but I think the more he is used, the more teams will scout him as well. I would imagine he has been working on going right, shooting jumpers and his post game this offseason so I hope he proves me wrong and does score 20 a game but it would be surprising to me. He is probably my favorite player in the league right now and I would be pretty upset if they traded him.

Turner I could do without because he has only shown glimpses of what made him the 2nd overall pick in his career in Philly. One game he will score 25 points and grab 15 boards and the next game he will score 4 points with 3 rebounds. He is crazy inconsistent and that has a lot to do with his wacky jumper. He should take a page out of Thad’s book and learn how be a consistent player without a consistent jump shot….either that or learn to shoot the correct way instead of having his guide hand in front of the ball.

I think if you’re gonna trade Thaddeus Young and/or Evan Turner, the 76ers should wait until the trade deadline, or at least partway into the seaon.

I agree, Thad Young is very underrated, which is why that would be the best move. Philly will be horrible, but Turner and Young would put up some numbers and may up their trade value a bit with bigger seasons. If you’re gonna trade them, let them get their value up, then move them for something a bit better then Ariza and a second rounder.

A lot of teams can offer a better package than that for Young.

People are always proposing a trade where their team gives up nothing and gets something. Why would Philly want a mediocre 3 and crap 2nd round picks ? Throw in a 1st rounder – preferably next year and there’s something to talk about

Philly already has 3 2nd rounders next year – We don’t need any more. Unless it involves a 2014 or 2015 1st rounder, I would not be interested.
