Negatives: Overaged, I think he is 25 already. He has had a couple of brushes with the law, although, in my opinion, they were relatively minor and not in the last two years. No real offensive game beyond 8 feet from the basket. Only about a 50 percent free throw shooter. Undersized (heightwise) for the PF position. Two years removed from a serious knee injury.

Positives: Big motor, long arms, huge hands, good hops, enjoys defense, good shotblocker, likes to mix it up and put the wood to opponents. If he gets 8 minutes and never touches the ball on offense he will still be happy.

Summary: I could see Mbawke stick with a team that needs someone to come off the bench and play PF (cannot play anywhere else). He probably didnt get drafted because he is already 25 and ive heard hes only 6’6 without shoes on. Not to mention the injuries hes had to deal with.

with everything everyone said he is a beast regardless, and you need hustling monsters on the court for you. faried, jj hickson, asiek, and evans for the nets play the same way he does. I think that deserves a contract. Give him a backup spot ahead of someone a team drafted in the 1st round last year or the year before that who only receives play time because they were drafted in the first round. At 6’8 or taller that is the size of a lot of power forward these days. With his offense coming from so close to the basket it seems you would label him an undersized center instead of pf. Either way come to the mavs we need rebounding.

He is like jeff adrian both are hard worker/hustle guys, strong, undersized, and have no jumper. He is a solid 5th or sixth bigman to have for the minimum salary.
