Also, there have been a few places reporting a Wolves-Mavs sign and trade involving Mayo and Barea. So there’s that rumor.

WarblingSpamalopeParticipantA little bit of an overpay, but not too much. I like him, he is a winning player who does the little things right. He didn’t even shoot the ball all that well last year and I thought he made them a better team. Trading Mayo for Barea would be a steal depending on what else is involved. I like Mayo’s efficiency throughout his career. Assuming AK doesn’t come back, am I the only one that thinks this team will score tons, but be god awful defensively?

mds0549ParticipantOnce Webster got 4 years 22 mil you knew that Chase was going to get similar money so I don’t think that it is an overpay considering the market. Very happy that they kept him and hoping they can add Mayo/Martin/Korver or Young. If he can stay healthy he’s a good 6th man that can start when needed. Now we wait and see if anyone makes Pek an offer with a poison pill or if Minny can keep him in the mix.

Very under-rated player, only 25 years old and just started to show signs of playing at his potential last season (although he dipped off at the end of the year). Would give them another great 3 point threat to go along with Love and Budinger.
