anthony_DavIS23ParticipantOrlando might be playing Oladipo at 1 as they don’t have another true point on their roster.

OhCanada-ParticipantI like the Tournament theme. Toronto has a good shot to finally win a championship.

BasketBalAllanParticipantSacramento Kings announce Las Vegas Summer League roster
Written by: James Ham with contributions from Jonathan Santiago
The Sacramento Kings announced the list of players that will join new draft picks Ben McLemore and Ray McCallum inthe Las Vegas Summer League. Assistant coach Chris Jent will lead this year’s team.
Of the 15 players named to the roster, six worked out for the Kings before this year’s draft: C.J. Aiken, Will Clyburn, Chris Evans, Shane Gibson, Trevor Mbakwe, Nick Minnerath, and Trent Lockett. Former Cal standout Jorge Guiterrez played for the Denver Nuggets in summer league last year while new Kings GM Pete D’Alessandro was still in the Mile High City. And Drew Gordon worked out for the Golden State Warriors last year where new coach Michael Malone previously served as an assistant.
Former Ohio State Buckeye David Lighty is another familiar face that was named to the Kings’ summer league roster. Lighty worked out for the Kings’ old regime before going undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft. He recently won a European Championship in France with JSF Nanterre and was named Finals MVP.
Before summer league action tips off next week, the Kings will hold a brief mini-camp from July 8-12. Unlike years past, the Kings will hold the four-day camp in Las Vegas as opposed to Sacramento.
A new format is being used in Las Vegas Summer League this year. The Kings have three scheduled games, which will establish seeding for a tournament that begins on July 17. The first 10 teams get a bye for round one and all teams are guaranteed at least two games in the tournament.
Cowbell Kingdom will be in attendance and providing coverage for the entirety of Summer League.
