KHAM83ParticipantHoopshype reports that the Blazers has multiple offers for Aldridge, including offer from the Clippers. I have brought up swapping Griffin for Aldridge a couple times and was heavily negged, and couldn’t understand why. Aldridge imo is the best pf in the game, and I rather have him now over Griffin or even Love. I emphasize “now” because Griffin still has potential to become the best. I think Portland jumps all over this and may be willing to throw in their lotto pick or other assets. If this rumor is true, what would the clippers have had to offer to make Portland even consider sending them Aldridge?

JmpasqParticipantI am guessing they are offering a weak deal starting with Deandre Jordan . I think they are using Blake in a deal only for Dwight Howard.

For_Never_EverParticipantThe Blazers would be retarded to give up Aldrige and the 10th pick for Griffin. I also agree and have said he is the best complete PF in the game.

JmpasqParticipantThe only reason I would even consider trading him is he is 28 already and they arent really close to competing for a Championship. If I was going to deal him it would be to the Cavs they are in the East and have multiple young players and Picks. U could create a core that could grow together under the age of 25

For_Never_EverParticipantI actually think the Blazers should should give up the 10th pick to try to acquire some vets on the wing. I can see this team being very good with a reliable older player. Paul Pierce or Garnet, perhaps even both.

HobbyOGParticipantLamarcus Aldridge is NOT the best PF in the game. He’s good at many things but not great at anything. He avg 21 pts and 9 rebs a game. A PF/C should not avg under 10 boards. IMO Kevin Love (when healthy) is the best PF in the game and it isn’t close between these two.

JmpasqParticipantFrom SB Nation
The Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers discussed trade possibilities that would have sent Deandre Jordan to Portland, but it’s not clear if those talks will continue going forward, per Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/27/2013 - 3:16am #806874

The QParticipantThe Clips can’t offer much besides Jordan and a couple of firsts.
I don’t think Portland wants/needs Bledsoe.
