    2010. Lebron James & John Wall.

    Next year around this time, We will be waiting to see who our favorite teams sign or draft. Some Teams (New York, New Jersey, Detroit) had sacrificed this season to build in 2010. I mean the list of potential FA are outstanding. James, Wade,Bosh, Johnson,Dirk,Pierce, McGrady and the list goes on.

    Over the last 15-25 years, this maybe the biggest year of basketball (College, NBA) overall.

    Off the top of my head, I don’t remember a year where the combination of college draft and free agents has been this strong. Teams have been trying to free-up cap space for next year’s class for at least 3 years already. Seems like the year many futures of teams will be made or shattered. Lebron may be the most sought after free agent the NBA has ever or will ever see. Consolation prizes are extraordinary and draft is extremely talented and depending on who comes out, it looks to be deep as well. This forum will be hopping!

    what if everyone opts out too…I mean we could see 10-12 all-stars, 1-3 MVP and countless superstars eligable to be signed to a new team..

    Great post and observation. Next year will be wild. I feel like New York will have a huge edge in attracting players. Who doesn’t want to play in the Big Apple?

    Maybe some older guys will also take slight pay cuts to play in NY (if Lebron comes and makes the Knicks an instant playoff contender).
