We are 7 days from the 2013 draft and I want to know who you guys would like your team team to draft?

For the Pacers as we are picking 23rd in the first I would like to get Isaiah Canaan as a back-up PG. He reminds me of Jameer Nelson and think he could be very serviceable especially being able to come straight into Pacers system would be useful.

    With the 53rd I wouldn’t mind a stretch 4 in Ryan Kelly.

For the Suns Oladipo if he’s availible. If not Noel if he falls and after that Porter, Caldwell Pope, McLemore in that order.

Sixers 1st CJ McCollum, 2nd KCP 3rd Zeller 4th Adams.

If none of those guys are available I would look for a trade. The last resort could be Shabazz because they do need a wing that can shoot. I am not a big believer of his but he does have more upside than a lot of guys that will be picked in the 10-20 range.

I would rank KCP 1 and Adams 2. Don’t think Zeller will be here

I also want Mike Muscala perhaps trading the two early second round picks for a late 1st to do so

I don’t think any of them will be there except for Adams…CJ has a chance but I don’t know if he will drop that far since he is probably the most proven scorer in this draft. It will be very interesting to see what happens though because it seems like there is a quite a talent drop outside the top 10.

Well I like two teams, but I’ll do the Timberwolves.

    9. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. We need a SG that can shoot and slash to the basket. I think he will be a better scorer than Oladipo, but not on defense and the second best scoring SG behind McLemore.

    26. Rudy Gobert. Long wingspan that can move like a SF. We need more height and can come in off the bench for PF or C

    52. Colton Iverson. I just like this guy, I liked him at the University of Minnesota and even though I don’t think he will be a great pro, I would like to see what he could do.

    59. Rodney Williams. Just for the local ties. Unless he can become a better shooter and switch to a SF, I think his career will be made overseas.

I kind of go away from the logic that most Celtics fan possess, and want them to draft a scoring SG, preferably Tim Hardaway Jr, Glen Rice Jr, Ledo, or even Allen Crab. If Shabazz slips he would be a dream pick. I just don’t like the idea of having a non-scoring PG (Rondo) and none scoring SG (Bradley) in the starting lineup. Green is good, but he can’t carry the offense.

I think one of the main reasons we keptJeff around is because of the “Uncle Jeff” reputation he got when playing for the young OKC team. If we try to win now, he’s a good player, if we try to rebuild, he would be the perfect locker room guy. So SF is the only position we shouldn’t draft for. Ideally I would want to see a fast rebuild, especially if Rondo is going to miss half a season, so I hope they just take BPA at #16.

    Celtics:

1st Choice: Sergey Karasev – He was an efficient volume scorer in a competitive league. Outstanding scoring instincts, nice passer, and ambidextrous ball handler/finisher. If he played in the NCAA, I think he would be much more hyped.

2nd Choice: Gorgui Dieng – Underrated prospect in my opinion. About as close to an NBA ready defender as you will find in college and is underrated offensively. He may not be a scorer, but he knows what to do with the ball in his hands. I think he could easily be a Joakim Noah-lite player in the NBA.

3rd Choice: Shane Larkin – He could be a really nice back-up pg with upside. His limitations as a defender are obvious, but he is tremendously talented on offense. He is an outstanding shooter, elite ball handler, and possesses blow-by speed and elite quickness. I actually think he is a better prospect than MCW.

Hawks – #17 Shabazz Muhammed (if available) #18 Gorgui Dieng. If Muhammed isn’t there then Dieng at #17 and Tony Mitchell at #18. #47 Peyton Siva and #50 Mike Muscala or Ryan Kelly.

As a Mavs fan, if we keep the pick, I’m hoping CJ McCollum or Zeller fall to us, but barring that strange turn of events, I like Shroeder or MCW

Bulls fan here, I’d love to see us get Gorgui Dieng in the first round at 20. I think he’d be a great back-up center for Joakim. In the second round, I’m not really sure.

    14. Dennis Schroeder or Shane Larkin- I don’t think MCW will still be there and we obviously need a franchise PG; I think they’ll take one of these guys
    21. Rudy Gobert, Sergey Karasev, Gorgui Dieng or Kelly Olynyk if he falls that far
    46. a wing: Andre Roberson, C.J. Leslie (if he fallls), Robert Covington

Jazz fan, As Chad Ford’s Teir systems shows there really aren’t any star player type players available and especially at 14 and 21, so I would take Giannis at 14 (don’t think he’ll be there at 21) he is young and may have as much potential as anyone, at 21 I’d take a long shot blocking big like Gobert or BeBe (if he’s there) or Withey. At 46 I’d hope Kybongo is still on the board and take him.
