although i don’t really see the grizzlies wanting harden since they already have mayo. but as a kings fan, i would do that trade.

Harden would be the perfect 6th man for the grizz

    Grizz fan answer me this

Why would Sacramento give up a 2010 pick, Darrel Arthur and James Harden for Rubio and a 2010 pick?

I mean, If I was Sacramento, I would do anything but a pick swap (2 for 4) because Rubio Does Not Wanna Play In Memphis…

Darrell Arthur is on the grizzlies genius
    the trade is

    Memphis sends Arthur, + Rubio
Sacramento sends Harden + 2010 1st rd pick (top 3 protected)

    my bad…

but still, 2010 is looking like a all-time draft, why should I give up a 2010 pick for Rubio when I could add a Holiday, Curry, Jennings or even a Flynn and probably get the same numbers?

I dont think a Memphis-Sacramento deal will happen.

the grizz might have to throw in darko’s expiring for a bad contract from sacramento

it might work because look at it this way
if arthur was in this draft where would he go?probably top 10
if rubio was in next years draft where would he go? probably top 6

so in my eyes its a bit in memphis’s favour but if you do darko for bad contract it evens out very well

No way. If I’m Sacramento, why would I give up the 2010 pick?

were gonna be bad, again in 2010. keep it. Take Holiday (4th), Daye (23rd) and Claver (31st)

Darko? I dont want him. And, Arthur would not go top 10 in this draft…too many good PG and not alot of teams need a 3/4

Darko is as good as gold now he has a 7million dollar expiring contract going into a year being said to be the best FA class ever, sacramento can shed some bad contracts while getting darko a huge trading asset

it is top 3 protected which means if the ping pong balls bounce in sacramentos favour they keep the pick until next year

yea but there are many good players in 2010 draft…not just 3.

I think that if you took out the 2010 pick, that trade becomes more realistic.

Well this deal would sound more realistic

    Memphis-Rubio, Darko and Arthur
    Sacramento- Hill, Udrih and Greene

Well, I think the Rubio hype is dying. I wouldnt give up alot for him. He will have a huge learning curve from Euro to NBA and Sacramento can take a PG at 4.

If Sacramento doesnt want Rubio and fall in love with another PG, Memphis might as well not take Rubio,

sacramento and memphis have already had discussions. sacramento won’t be getting the number 2 pick without giving up jason thompson, and that is something that they aren’t going to do.
