magnitoParticipantHello. I’m new and i want to ask you.

bigguy36ParticipantI’m fairly new to this board too, but I think Patty Mills is a bit low on the site’s mock draft. I’m pretty sure a team is going to take him in the first round. I have him going 23rd to Sacramento; if they don’t take a point guard with the 4th pick, look for them to take one 23rd, whether it’s Mills or Ty Lawson.

pbrittyParticipantGreen is way to low in this mock draft. Although he won`t be an all-star he will still be a solid player in this league. I could see him playing a Trevor Ariza like role for a very good team.

kotyParticipanti agree with you about Danny Green but Ariza is more athletic then him. I see him as somewhat of a James Posey player. A good perimeter defender who is capable of scoring about 10ppg for his career.

Lemons4LifeParticipantThey have McNeal in the second round, but I think McNeal can be a solid player kinda like Devin Harris.

Hoop FreakZParticipantI think he will be a very good backup point guard for a team, especially because he will most likely be a second round pick.
Also, I think Danny Green will be a good defensive stopper and a 3rd and 4th option for a team.

gedrosolanParticipantSam Young will be a nice pickup for a team, he could be an early 2nd rounder or last 1st rounder. He had a great year last year for Pitt but is not getting recognition for that too much in the draft.

phsportsParticipantThe biggest indictment on Collison’s game is that he got worked by Derrick Rose. That one game led people to believe that he struggles against tall point guards. We’ve since learned that a lot of pros have been worked by Rose. Collison is a floor general — he penetrates, distributes, shoots well from the outside, and is a tenacious on-the-ball defender.
Last year, Damion James, had he come out for the draft, would have been drafted in the teens. He’s a double-double guy, who can shoot from deep if asked to do so. After a year of playing without a real point guard, his stock fell. He’s just as talented though, and has to re-learn how to let the game come to him.

pistonsmanParticipantMCNEAL DROPPEN SUPER LOW TO THE 51st PICK HE IS BETTER THAN THAT I THINK AT LEAST ANYWHERE FROM 20- 30 WOULD BE A GOOD SPOT FOR HIM.

gatorheelsParticipantphsports- you are exactly right about Rose making other players look bad. He made DJ Augustin look terrible when they played against each other in the NCAA tourney a couple years ago. Collison has skills, I think he can be a solid pro. I think Collison just has a lack of confidence.
I like Leo Lyons & Milan Macvan as potential steals late in the 2nd round.

fliptonnParticipanttyrese rice can flat out score, his team just wasnt very good this year from a lack of surrounding talent and a coach who doesnt run the offense through rice.
also i still havent heard anything bad about beaubois. from what i hear hes rondo with a three point shot. i gotta be missing something though because if that were the case i would hear a lot more about him right?

jasonmgray11ParticipantFirst off you can’t even compare nobodies stock based on what Rose did to them. He does everybody llike that and the beauty is some of these guards won’t have to play Rose every single game.
I think Jrue Holiday will be the steal of the draft. I’m not saying he is going to be good off jump but potential wise yes he will. He has the size and quickness to compete with the upper level guards. He has solid defense which will get him more playing time believe it or not. It’s his D that will keep him on the court.. I would rather have a guard who can get my team into the offense and play solid D then some shoot first point who plays suspect D.
We all have to remember that the NBA is all about match ups and if you can’t match up you will be exploited ala Cavs vs Magic. That’s the point that people miss with some players. Look at how they stack up against players at their respective positions. He is the only guard who won’t get bullied night in and night out cause of his size.
