Meditated StatesParticipantHarangody is a decent athelete not special, but he will board and score some buckets for you. Has shown a solid jumper too.

Hoop FreakZParticipantI think he would be a decent player for them coming off the bench and playing a few minutes, but will he last that long? is the better question.

R-Dot-13Participantwith the way glen davis has improved in boston, i wouldnt be surprised to see hanangody improve into a good player if drafted by the celtics

JNixonParticipantI think it would be an ok pick. He is a poor man’s big baby anyway. Dont expect him to make the team though

acantareParticipantwouldnt be a bad pick, but i expect the celtics to take a euro that late in the draft and just leave him over seas

kotyParticipantI’d like to see them pick either Alexy Shved of Vladamir Dasic, who in my opinion, are the two prospects in this draft who have the most potential in this draft. Let either of them develop for a year or two and then bring them over to learn from Allen/ Pierce for a year and then have them replace them

gatorheelsParticipantkoty- Dasic is no longer in the draft. Good idea though about picking an nternational player and letting them develop.
However, I think the Celtics should go for a player with more experience that can possibly contribut right away. Celtics could use some better depth if they are going to make a deep playoff run. Drafting a player like Leo Lyons, Dionte Christmas, etc… late in the 2nd round would be a good move

jasonmgray11ParticipantI don’t see them taking Harangody when they have Scalibuster. They are pretty much the exact same player if you think about it. Both are tweener forwards who can shoot. Harangody may be a tad bit tougher but Scali showed a little toughness throughout the playoffs. So I really highly doubt it
They do need size so a Center/Power Forward would be a wise decision. With that pick so late it’s hard to see them drafting someone who will actually stick. I say they sign someone through free agency or trade for a player with size.

The MantisParticipantThey already have 3 F’s who are similar to Harangody in Scalabrine, Big Baby and Powe (assuming he comes back from injury sometime next season). Plus, I see Harangody going probably 10 to 15 picks before the Celtics 2nd rounder. But you never know. If he’s still there at 58, he’d be a steal.
