gatorheelsParticipantYeah man Lawson is a lock to go first round. PGs with his speed and leadership don’t come around everyday.

maravich44ParticipantHw will be a good pro player too.

butidonthavemoneyTy Lawson couldn’t possibly fall to the second round. I don’t see him falling past #23. I think he will go to the Suns or the 76ers.

birdman1113Participanttheres no way unless he has horrible workouts hes going out of the first round. its looks like Mills will be the point guard who slips out of the first round.

bdoody42ParticipantI think a better question is if he will crack the lottery. Could he get picked by the suns at 14, or will he drop to say the 76ers or Mavs? IMO I think he should be drafted ahead of Flynn, Maynor, Holiday. I think he should be drafted after Rubio and Jennings for PGS.

The MantisParticipantI don’t think there’s any question he’ll be a 1st rounder. Probably somewhere between mid teens-early 20’s.

Knicksboy34ParticipantNo way Lawson cracks lottery man. I would be shocked. I think he will be a decent PG in the league. Maybe more as a backup.

stoppre1213ParticipantIs this kid is about the same thing as felton, minus 2 inches, didn’t felton get drafted 5th? Maybe Felton had an amazing combine, or Lawson is seen as too injury prone, or they feel he will end up as a Raymond Felton. Personally, I think this kid is going to be pretty good, he’s defense is the only question I see in his game, the best comparison I can think of is Luke Ridnour, who went 14th, I think he will be a good back-up/decent starter.

ncballerActually Lawson did IMHO better than Felton in the combine as well.
Lawson had a 36.5 inch max vert, 14 reps, 10.98 agility, and 3.12 3/4 court sprint
Felton had a 33.5 inch max vert, 6 reps, 10.5 agility and 3.06 3/4 court sprintLawson was a MUCH better PG at this stage than Felton. Just look at their stats from when they both entered.
I just don’t understand where this lack of athleticism argument is coming from. In his latest profile update one of his weaknesses is athleticism. He has plenty of athleticism to be a big time NBA PG.
He is IMHO a steal if he gets out of the lottery somehow.

pbrittyParticipantI think a lot of teams are looking for point guards in this draft after the year Westbrook and Rose had. Lawson will definitely go in the first round and probably go to the sixers who will lose andre miller this summer to free agency.
