    This draft and potentially the next draft have some intriguing international prospects at every position. I expect a lot of international players to be taken in this year’s draft not only because it is what I would call a “weak” draft, but there happen to be a lot of solid international prospects to begin with. These are my favorite ones:

    1. Mario Hezonja- Even though he is projected as a lotto pick in what is seen as a strong draft in 2014, he isn’t someone who has been talked about that much… I think he is the best international prospect in quite some time (no where near as much hype as Ricky Rubio though) and like his write-up says, the best international wing prospect since Drazen Petrovic. He can be an elite shooting guard in the NBA. He does everything well, is an excellent athlete and is already a very good iso player.

    2. Dario Saric- Makes the game look really easy. Very skilled overall and can play a lot of positions. He does remind me of Toni Kukoc a bit, in terms of how he plays, but he won’t put up the same numbers Kukoc did and is no where near as talented. He will be like Boris Diaw before he got fat.

    3. Rudy Gobert- This guy is a freak. He is long, athletic and looks smooth. He needs to put on some weight though. He plays like Tyson Chandler but will face the same fate as Alexis Ajinca if he doesn’t add some diversity to his game. I am by no means saying he will be as good as Tyson Chandler is.

    4. Giannis Adetokunbo- Very impressive physical attributes and seems to be versatile, but I need to see him play against higher competition. He isn’t exactly tearing it up in the Greek 2nd division either….. Looks like a draft n’ stash guy

    Croatian-heavy at the top just like I like it! I’ve seen the comparisons to Petrovic from Hezonja but lets be honest, there will never be another Draz he was simply the best shooter of all-time. I think Saric will turn out to be more like a Hedo before he fell off. Hopefully the Mavs scoop him up so he could learn under Dirk, then he has a chance to be special.

    Schroeder will be a deadly pg in the nba. A more composed version of rondo with a better shot and less gambling on the defensive end.

    Livii jean charles could also be a steal of the draft. 6’9 with 7’3 wingspan. Has a high motor and is there at the right moments at the right time. Has a jump shot shot im sure he will use more in the Nba . Biggest issue is ball handling ability and inability to go or finish with left. But otherwise a pretty nice blue collar player and ability to get u 15 pts. 9 rbs. 3 blks. Quietly
