bbrzParticipantThis is going to be a very intresting draft and offseason for the bucks. I was pleasantly suprised to read about joe alexander and luc richard being here all summer so far working with skiles and the coaches on their game. They both have been building muscle and sources say joe has put on visible upper body muscle mass. I expect a solid sophomore campaign from joe. And it was nice to read that luc richard has been working on his offense having to make 400 shots a day. If he can have a good midrange jumper and post moves he’s going to be a great player. Im not thrilled with the idea of them drafting teague since he doesn’t seem to be a skiles type of player. We pretty much had a good scoring high turnover guy 2 seasons ago in Mo willams. I think at this point Blair or any of the point guards would be ideal!! What do you guys think?

STEVEDOT2ParticipantWhy did they pick him in a such talented draft every one drafted after him in the lottery had a good season from the summer league to now.even tho 1s taht didnt play much gave us hope by good performaces whne we sawthem play even Danilo. WHERES JOE. i really like bogut put him down with a domintate power foward or a fast break team he a be so better. he can still improve with his post up game his passing is great for a center i think he can lose some weight and try to get faster but being on the bucks make you not want to work. trade redd trade jeffeson hey trade bogut rebuild now because these players are gettin older and older and with the great players they have they still manage to make the lottery.

Mr.CreativeParticipantI believed that Joe Alexander did not see enough playing time or solidify his spot in the rotation. Jefferson had a good season despite losing Michael Redd to a serious injury. At this point, Redd has been injured, at this point they should draft a shooting guard. Perhaps, Gerald Henderson or someone who can provide some shooting and athleticism. I don’t think they can keep Villanueva and Sessions when they leave free agents. But they have Luc Mbah A Route, a good pickup in the previous draft. Either a power forward or a shooting guard to solidify the 2 spot while Redd is still inactive.

STEVEDOT2Participantthey didnt go to the playoffs 3 years in a row next year they wont make it ether losing 1 or 2 of thier starters….in the way the east looks to get better mess around they might miss out the playoffs for a decade if they stick with the same core to long. look at memphis juss started to rebuild and has become a great team and is going to get better and the thunder.
rebuild now

TH38L4CKM4M84If evans falls to them at 10 hell be a steal. He can play either guard spot but hell obviously need more time at the 1 to be a full time pg so that will take time if hes the pg of the future depending on what they do with sessions but with a backcourt of evans and sessions theyll have two guards who can play either spot and evans’s length and athleticism make him a matchup problem with smaller guards. Jeffersons at the end of his contract this year and probably wont last the season with the team if they arent in contention. Its going to be huge when they free up from redds huge contract in 2 years and build from teh core guys they have- bogut, mbah moute, and sessions and their draft pick (evans hopefully or maybe henderson or even maybe dejuam blair). I think all three of these players will be solid players and evans has a chance to be a star.
Hopefully Alexander and Mbah Moutes extra work here in milwaukee this offseason will pay off next year and theyll become consistent players0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/18/2009 - 4:37pm #167891
bbrzParticipantok STEVEDOT2 if im not mistaken memphis is picking 2nd in this draft which means they are a horrible team. The only reason the bucks didn’t make the playoffs is because of injuries!!! Bogut 46 games Redd 49 games your telling me that memphis is better than milwaukee?!!! please what are you smoking? If they add a solid contributer and stay healthy this is a playoff team and believe me memphis will be picking in the top 5 for the next decade not milwaukee.

STEVEDOT2Participantok they didn make the ply offs this year….nor last year……..ask you self this in 3 years do you see the bucks being a better team then memphis…nooooooooooo why are the bucks in the lottery with proven players???? memphis has young players we arent looking to make the playoffs n contend “yet” but we will make it sooner then later
the bucks are suppose to make the play offs
but they had 7 lotter picks i the last 9 years
redd aint getting younger……….
2004 was the last time they made the playoffs with micheal redd
the drafted bogut with the #1 pick ahead of cp3 deron granger
so can i ask you
what are u in the bucks smoking………….deer?
ok they were injured……
when arent players?
richard is gone so is charles so if redd or bogut are injured where will the bucks go for help?
please dont tell me bradon can push them to the playoffs hes first or second year
dont tell me joe can come out of nowhere in lead the team in time of need ether the way he missed wide open lay ups in the summer league

grace1111ParticipantAlexander will probably average more mpg through the season just because of where he was drafted, he’ll get more chances to prove himself and have somewhat of a longer leash, and he probably will fill a stat line better than LRMAM because of that, but I’ll take Moute on who will be more effective / matter more to this team of the two.
