drk3351ParticipantFor me it’s Joakim Noah. Not only a great shot blocker but leads the defense and can also take charges and i don’t know if it plays a role but he boxes out and prevents offensive rebounds.

BenchWarmerParticipantNoah or Duncan. I might be biased with duncan because I factor his age in. After those two I’d say Gasol, Avery Bradley, Lebron and Iggy will get the most first place votes. I’d put my money on Noah tho.
COY I say there is no one more deserving than Popovich. But I say Thibado (mispelled?) or George Karl get it

fcb206ParticipantMarc Gasol for DPOY. Anchors the best defense in the NBA, plays a ton of minutes for a big guy. Its easy to look at the stats and say its Duncan, But Gasol impacts the defensive end in so many intangible ways. Makes his teammates better defenders with his positioning and instructions, also great at busting up the pick and roll which is a huge element of most NBA offenses.True leader on the defensive end. Kind of like a “defensive PG”.

GREENE1148ParticipantIndiana is the best defense in the league, only reason Memphis allows less points is because they play a snail paced half court offence

machu46ParticipantI say Larry Sanders only because I’m a Bucks fan and he’s given us some hope.
Not sure if it’s actually the case, but I feel like he’s fallen off a bit down the stretch this season. He’ll still get some votes though.

druneave3ParticipantNot Howard, have you seen his PnR defense, perhaps worse than Carlos Boozer! LeBron has been simply incredible and deserves to win it one year, considering he is the best individual defender and most versatile. Noah and Gasol are close seconds.

BigMac12111ParticipantDwight, Noah, Bradley, Allen, Sanders are probably my top five (Lebron/Duncan were close). If I had to put them in an order though:
1. Avery Bradley
2. Tony Allen
3. Joakim Noah
4. Dwight Howard
5. Larry Sanders0 - AuthorPosts
