KHAM83ParticipantAccording to Yahoo! Sports:
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba–source–georgetown-s-otto-porter-jr–will-enter-nba-draft-140556248.htmlI may be in the minor here, but I think he’ll be one of the busts in the next few years when we look back on the top few picks from this draft, a la Wes Johnson. Thats just my opinion.

Krypt GussParticipantalmost all of this year’s lotto picks have the potential to be busts. There’s just no extraordinary talent this year.

B-ball fanParticipantI’m a big fan of Porter. His scoring for Georgetown was very impressive, especially when you consider Georgetown wasn’t a super high scoring team to begin with and had an offense reliant on ball movement. He looks like a player who could be a nice post scorer in the NBA and could make an impact coming off screens. He just needs to continue to shoot as he did his sophomore year. He isn’t really an explosive athlete, but he easily elevates above the rim with his length.
If Adetokoubo is a lottery pick, I see no reason why Porter can’t be a top 3 pick.

IknoBall12ParticipantDon’t think porter will be very good at the next level. He needs to put on some weight to avoid getting muscled around by other SF. But I don’t think he will be will be Johnson bad. Maybe more like a less athletic nick Batum from portland

SiggyParticipantI think he’s one of the safest picks in the draft. He’s got legit 2 way potential. Highly intelligent with great intangibles. At the very worst he’s a guy who can disrupt defensively, make smart plays with the ball, play with good energy and hit open jump shots.
The Wes Johnson comparison is a bad one. Syracuse didn’t play through Wes. Georgetown OTOH did play through Porter. He was the hub of their offense and the anchor of their defense. There was a lot of weight put on his shoulders and he responded very well.0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/15/2013 - 10:49am #763186
