It may just be me but I see a lot of people’s MVP voting and I see that melo is 4th or 5th on some of the list. I kinda think that’s crazy. Now top 3 is where I would have melo. And more importantly I actually have melo in front of KD because is my opinion melo is more important to his team than KD is. In some of these games this year we’ve seen melo single handedly CARRY the Knicks through games. I’m not saying KD doesn’t but kD doesn’t exactly have the feel of a leader to me. You see a lot of confusion and chaos when it comes to the thunders offense and a lot of frustration. You don’t see too much of that with the Knicks. Russell Westbrook also carries that team from time to time(or at least attempts too) and it just seems Iike the team doesn’t really know what it wants to do. On Melos squad there is no question who the ball goes to in crunch time and throughout the game. Yea he has JR smith who has played very well throughout the season but melo leads the team. The Knicks pretty much live and die predicated on Melos play. Melo and KD are battling for the scoring title this season and the race has been great to watch. None of this truly matters tho because lebron James is the runaway MVP but just wondering if anybody else feels the same about melo man

yikess, im sorry. are you a knicks fan? i actually watch every single knicks game. ive been a fan for them since i was about 12 years old, so i can be biased, but im not. carmelo anthony is not higher on the MVP voting list then KD. yes, they are on a hot streak right now. looks like no one can touch them. however the key word is NOW. throughout the season, hes been putting up great numbers but hes been hurt a lot, he shoots alot, he sometimes gets his teammates out of rhythm. there are many things that carmelo did in the middle of the season that just made me shake my head. like i said now, at the end of the season hes been ballin out, but in the middle of the season he was an all star and thats about it… just look that the records of both teams. and dont give me the whole KD has westbrook thing, because westbrook will literally shoot the thunder out of the game just as easily as he’ll keep them in the game…

No Knicks fan. But I guess what I’m tryin to say is melo will at least take on that responsibility of bearing the torch for the team. He’s putting everything on his back by shooting too many shots as you say but he’s owning up to it. kD (and the rest if the thunder for that matter) seems as thoughthough they are afraid to say what needs to be said to Westbrook. I just don’t view him as the man on that team that has the command if all his teammates

Noway Melo is better than durant in the MVP voting. Durant is going to go 50, 40, 90 while leading the league in scoring and getting 8 rebounds a game.
