Carmelo is averaging 43.7 PPG in the last 3 games and he has his eyes set on the scoring title. Kevin Durant is averaging 28.37 PPG while Carmelo is averaging 28.32.

Who scores more points in this game?

Carmelo, just due to the fact that he’s on fire right now. This is how Carmelo was playing before he was slowed down by injuries and before Amare came back from his. Melo in the beginning of the season was the MVP front runner until injuries slowed him down, it looks like he’s back on track again and making a late push for that MVP.

This should be an exciting game! Melo’s on fire and is RARELY hitting rim. I think he outscores Durant in this one.

OKC is exploiting their size advantage over the Knicks early. The Knicks are REALLY gonna miss Kenyon Martin today.

Side note: The refs are doing too much early on, calling a lot of ticky tack fouls against the Knicks

OKC is really getting some home-cooking from the refs today. Everything is being called a foul. Everything

Why do they keep switching? and Why cant Tyson Chandler block the shot? He has not been good at all on Defense today.
If he stepped up and hedged hard, Reggie will have to pass the ball.

Reggie Jackson again! He’s probably scored 6 of the last 10 points for OKC.

Knicks are one of the most potent offensive teams. You can’t give them extra possessions if you expect to beat them.

Would anybody else love to see OKC take Alex Len with their pick? If Cauley-Stein ends up coming out, he would be a nice pick-up for them as well. A future front court of Cauley-Stein and Perry Jones just oozes with potential, along with Jeremy Lamb.

I totally agree except PJ3. Ibaka will be the man at the 4 but PJ3 playing more minutes would be good. On the other hand Jones is not known to be a banger either so there has to be another one inside who likes to protect the rim and can get a double douple INSIDE.

I really hope the Thunder go after Len who would be a perfect fit. After Steven Adams said he will declare I thought he will even be a better fit and could be available too. Many people think Adams will be a late first rounder and is coming out to early which is probably right but I really believe he will turn many heads in the combine and in the workouts.

Len or Adams would both be fantastic pickups for the Thunder!

OKC really needs better interior defense and way better rebounding.

    NY has 18 offensive rebounds
    Perk/Ibaka/KD have 14 TOTAL rebounds

You can’t beat a team like the Knicks if you allow so many 2nd chance points and still have so many turnovers.

Good game from Westbrook and a great outing from Reggie Jackson! Really hope Brooks realises that he should play more minutes. Another problem could be solved if he plays Westbrook and Jackson together is he could slide KD to the 4, Ibaka or Collison to the 5 and Sefolosha to the 3. They have no backup for KD what is a real weakness to me.

Perkins may have the worst numbers of any starting centers in the league.

The Thunder have Thabeet as the back up big to support Perkins whilst Collinson plays as the main big from the bench behind Ibaka and Perkins. With the Thunder’s draft options this year, they could go any number of ways, currently they have the 8th, 28th and 31st pick.

I could well see them looking to maybe package the 28th and 31st to move up the first round maybe to 22 to 24 perhaps and then using the main pick to draft BPA. With them being a contending team they already have a player like Jeremy Lamb not seeing hardly any playing time so if we assume they draft someone with the main pick then that player would need playing time an they could also add a veteran or two to give the bench depth aka Knicks, Clippers etc.

They could also use one of the later picks to go with the top pick to maybe move up a spot of two. I’d assume they may well look to draft contrasting type players maybe a big and a swingman etc. I like the idea of them taking Steve Adams with a later pick or moving up to get him in 21 to 25 range. If they did that then someone like Bazz with the main pick would be a decent mix.

The other guy I could really see them targeting with the main pick is Cody Zeller, he could give them a scoring big man to compliment what the other front courters bring, he’d be fairly NBA ready and would not need to worry too much about his defensive game as Ibaka and co could cover that part.
