NYFinest12ParticipantCan somebody explain to me why Isaiah Austin and Pierre Jackson are in the second round of this mock draft I see them both as first rounders Pierre in the late first and Isaiah possibly in the lottery. Austin ishaving a good game in the NIT right now and Pierre Jackson too

Chilbert arenasParticipantFour consecutive double doubles for Jackson to end his career at Baylor. I think teams in the late first round are really going to take a long look at him, and he’s going to test very well at the combine.

NYFinest12ParticipantI think he is going to destroy the combine vertical test and bench press and lane agility bench press people don’t realize how big and compact this guy is for a small sized dude

LazarusMunozParticipantNate Robinson and Isiah Thomas are proving a lotta people wrong,so I dont see why not… The only knock will be his leadership skills… All this talent on Baylor and cant lead them to the big dance

Sewok15ParticipantThat is Scott Drew’s fault more than anybody. Jackson led the Big 12 in scoring and assists. I think he is a quality leader and the only knock on him is his size but he has great athleticism to counter that. I would say he is Nate Robinson but a willing passer. I could see him as a great 6th man in the league in a role like Jarret Jack plays for the Warriors.

NYFinest12ParticipantI totally agree with everything you guys are saying about Pierre but what do you guys think about Isaiah Austin though lottery talent staying another year or one and done

tbp82ParticipantThe way Isaiah Austin played last night is the way he should have played all season long. He was using his length defensively and battling on the boards. He still shot way to many long jumpers. He should be shooting turnaround jumpers and jump hooks on the post. If he stays in school and puts on weight and works on his post game. AFTER Wiggins, Parker, and Randle I think Austin name would come up.

SiggyParticipantPierre Jackson is small and erratic with his decision making/shot selection. He’ll have to learn how to play without the ball, but i can see him having a Nate Robinson/ JL3 type role. Austin is rail thin, weak, lacks agility and is an inefficient scorer. He’s not even close to being physically ready to compete.
Keep in mind this was the NIT. Baylor had the talent to easily be a NCAA team but they were mediocre to bad during conference play.

MalcolmxParticipantCory Jefferson looks like he has an NBA future

FastAndFuriousParticipantPierre Jackson is a big time talent, it’s crazy how some guys with so much talent could slip through the cracks so easily, as Jackson wasn’t even recruited coming out of HS, now he’s on his way to the NBA.

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantYeah Jackson is going to do great in the NBA.. Maybe Utah will take a chance on him early if they fall in love, but if not he will be a late first. This dude puts in work and wants to be great..
