Leonard WashingtonParticipantHe is currently playing on ESPNU for Montverde with Dakari Johnson and Kasey Hill. Only being a sophmore I can already tell the Aussie is going to be a big time recruit in the next two years.
Questions I have about him are what is his potential ceiling and who are some current favorites to sign this kid?

SiggyParticipantAh thanks for the heads up. I’ll have to catch these games later on replay.
The times I’ve seen Simmons he hasn’t impressed me all that much, but at the same time he was playing up in age. He’s got long arms, good physical tools overall and a decent feel for the game given his age, but I didn’t see the skill.
According to 24/7, Duke is recruiting him the most, but I’m sure his list is a mile long.

HadzialijagicParticipantI love this kids game. He’s tall 6’9 ish with long arms. He could still grow an inch or two and probably will as he’s only 16. He’s got a smooth stroke and frOm what ive seen he’s got a really high IQ and is a great passer. He’s also a very good and fluid athlete

M-EazyParticipantI don’t understand how he is allowed to play for Monteverde when he hasn’t played for them all season and just got to the school.

cryan03ParticipantLSU and Duke are the 2 name that I have heard..LSU assistant coach played with his dad in Australia and then Duke has been on him hard. But I bet after this tournament and summer that almost every major school will be on him.

MalcolmxParticipantThese prep/boarding schools don’t follow state guidelines. They usually do as they please.

Leonard WashingtonParticipantHe actually just played a hell of a game shooting 6-7 scoring 16 points and I believe one of the announcers said he had 5 or 6 assists too. He looks every bit of 6″9 not looking much shorter than Dakari Johnson when they were standing side by side. He looks to be ahead of the game by keeping his coordination and athleticism during the growth spurt hes had. Definitely looks like a top 10 player in the sophmore class.

Linham101ParticipantHe actually goes to school half an hour from where I live and I have met him at a party I went to late last year. Cool dude
