Sports attorney & Forbes writer Darren Heitner claims that Hardaway Jr. will declare for the upcoming draft.

Also says that Trey Burke will declare, but that was to be expected.

I think Hardaway will probably go late first to early second, but I really think he could be a sleeper and possibly be better than old Daddy.

    Better than his pops?

    I HIGHLY doubt that.

Tim Hardaway AVERAGED 17.7 PPG and 8.2 APG for his entire career.

With his best year being 23.4 PPG and 10.0 APG in 81 games

Young Timmy may turn out to be solid, but he wont be better than his pops.

That was fun back in the day watching those three operate. I like junior as a prospect, but will definitely be tough to top the old man.

So you’re saying Tim Hardaway Jr will be better than his Dad who will most likely be in the Hall of Fame one day?

I think we all assumed he and Burke were leaving, the big questions surround GRIII and McGary.

I do see a very solid pro who knows his role. He is a top 20 pick.

I don’t personally have him in the first round and I don’t see his stock improving much after a yr. This is probably the right move.
