M-EazyParticipantHonestly is he the next Josh Smith (UCLA)? Overweight kid that never really gets it.
Or could he be a Devante Gardner (Marquette)? Fat kid that contributes but has no future after college because of weight.

tjmartin23ParticipantAs a UNC fan, lets hope he becomes Sean May 2.0!

MalcolmxParticipantThe crazy thing with these big dudes is they actually move pretty well for all of that weight to be on their body. I mean look how nimble Gardner was this year on the block. Also I wouldn’t say he doesn’t have future past college ball because I’m pretty sure some overseas club would like a big guy like that on their team. Josh smith can actually jump kind of well to be 320, I could only imagine how well he would move if he were 270. Kennedy Meeks is more of a Gardner athlete then a smith athlete but I think he has even more mobility, I truly hope he starts serious conditioning as soon as possible because all the tools are there and his skill level is the very high.

M-EazyParticipantYeah you’re right about future beyond college. I should’ve actually wrote NBA future.

samosasParticipantPeople like this kid let you know that just because you’re talented at sports doesn’t mean you don’t have your own demons. He didn’t get that big by eating rice cakes. You’d think he’d have someone in his ear enough to tell him DONT EAT

canesboy6ParticipantSean May was about this big coming in. A college S & C program will do him wonders, and he will have a dietician. Some guys can lose the weight, some guys can’t but I tend to think a solid coach who has done it before has a better chance than not to turn it around.
