This is my first post on the site, but I’m glad to be on here cause I’m always itching to talk basketball with others, especially when it comes to the draft.

So now to the point. I don’t know if anyone else sees this, but I see a lot of Deron Williams in Andrew Harrison’s game. Both guys are tall for the point guard position, strong, good scorers, willing passers and good handles. The site compares him to Dion Waiters, but I just don’t see that.

i had made a similar post several months ago and i gues a lot of people disagreed at the time. i really like the comparison and i agree they are very similar in there playing styles and rare physical attributes at the pg position. i also really hate the dion waiters comparison on this too. i really don’t see it at all.

Both also don’t rely on athleticism to dominate. They rely more on their scoring ability, size and ability to set up teammates to make their mark

Hopefully you don’t mean today’s 2-24 Jrue Holiday.

Jrue was a smarter player in HS. I like Andrew as a prospect, but I don’t like some of the things I’ve been reading about him and his brother. I was wondering why they were cut from Team USA. The rumblings were that the Harrison’s are selfish, like to dominate the ball, take bad shots (more so Aaron than Andrew), complain a lot on the court and only look to pass to each other. I watched a couple of their games this yr, as well as some AAU games over last summer and thats exactly I saw.

Andrew would have to improve his ability to shoot off the dribble immensely if he ever wants to come close to a Deron Williams comparison. Physically and athletically there are some similarities with Andrew and Tyreke, but Andrew’s the much better passer.
