Yeah, I’ve popped a couple of those back in, in my day. It’s pretty gross and popping them back in is something you never get used to.

When I was in high school this happened to a guy I was playing against. The guy was trying to strip the ball from me and he kinda got hooked in and I turned to get free from him and kinda popped his shoulder out. He started screaming and then everyone looked at him and it looked like Kanters, which is pretty gross, but then he just walked to the bench and his coach popped it in and was back in the game within 10 minutes haha.

No i know, it’s doesn’t seem to hold true in the NBA as much as others sports, it’s just a cliche that athletic trainers ALWAYS say

They just kept showing the reply, I had to look away in disgust of his shoulder and the fact he will be facing missing some ball games when the jazz really need him.

    Enes handled that appropriately.
Nothing was more embarrassing than seeing DWade cry and get carted off the court when he dislocated him shoulder.

I dislocated mine last summer, I couldn’t get up, but it didn’t hurt that much, coach came over, told me it was a dislocation, they got me up, it was a tournament so they got someone to pop it back in. If it were up to me I would’ve played right away but my dad took me to the hospital, the doctor made me rest for 4 weeks. I probably could’ve played after 2 and a half weeks, but it felt weird for a good 4 weeks.

But I’m surprised a trainer didn’t get there right away to try and pop Kanter’s in right away.

Isn’t it very dangerous if it’s not popped back correctly? Or am I just scarred from Grantland’s piece on Shaun Livingston’s knee injury? I remember it was mentioned if they didn’t get his knee put back correctly his leg would need to be amputated.
