theprophetParticipantjust figured we should have a thread like yesterday’s up here. both games on right now at half. ole’ miss and wisconsin are in a battle, while duke is beating albany.

Moon RiverParticipant1-11 in the first half. Good defense, bad shots or combination of both? Stuck at work and can only follow it by score/stats.
Thanks.

HaleParticipantTemple looking far superior to NC State early.

HaleParticipantMan I was so pissed last night haha. The last 5 minutes of that New Mexico-Harvard game was just torture.

R-Dot-13ParticipantMarshall Henderson is a pure jacker.
Not taking any good shots.
Some of them did look like they could have dropped.. but nonetheless bad shots and Ole Miss is paying for it.
The rest of the team is actually playing pretty solid.0- Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 8:06am #756815
theprophetParticipantwisconsin is tough to beat. any lead they have is equivalent to double what it really is because of the combination of defense and controlling a slow pace. henderson is in for a long second half here.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 8:09am #756814
HaleParticipantPlaying Wisconsin is the worst thing that could’ve happened to Henderson. They won’t give him anything easy so he’ll get frustrated and chuck away.

theprophetParticipanti have been wrong before, but i believe colorado beats illinois today. illinois is a tough big ten team, but i think they go down. florida gulf coast gives georgetown a run for their money but doesn’t quite do it.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 8:29am #756822
Forte IVParticipantThe f*ck is wrong with Henderon’s hair. Did he cut it himself? He’s got lines on the top.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 8:37am #756825
R-Dot-13ParticipantHenderson heating up a bit…
Numbers are awful but him putting in a few in a row really heats the rest of the team up too..0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 8:38am #756826
theprophetParticipantdid aamir really pick ole’ miss? right now they are taking it to wisconsin. he is looking like a genius. the defense has come through.
i can’t believe how much more athletic nc state looks compared to temple, and how much smarter temple is playing to beat down nc state.

Malik-UniversalParticipantgot damn it….. f*ck marshall Henderson…. I seriously cant stand him
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 8:46am #756831
R-Dot-13ParticipantI have Ole Miss in my Elite 8.
Heh, I got a first round upset right.0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 8:50am #756830
HaleParticipantFuck this shit. I’m out. Ole Miss beating Wisconsin is just too much for me. March Madness I hate you
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 9:16am #756854
Malik-UniversalParticipantam I the only one that thinks Lorenzo brown is not 6’5”… hes listed at that height but looks a lot more like 6’3”
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 11:31am #756892
CAROLINA BLUE NICKParticipantIt’s that Jimmy Neutron ass head of his lol. And I think he is 6’4. I’ve seen him downtown Raleigh before and I’m 6’2. We both had on polo shoes and he didnt look much taller than me. He is probably 6’5 in basketball shoes

NbanflguyParticipantAnyone notice that Temple is playing NC state in the daytime? That makes no sense. Why would owls play a wolfpack in the day time? They are both nocternal.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 9:40am #756861
theprophetParticipantkstate is playing terrible.
watch the temple/nc state game for a possible good finish.0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 10:30am #756877
theprophetParticipantdoug mcdermott is playing like a player of the year.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 11:19am #756888
BigChamp12ParticipantOle Miss scared me! I had them beating Wisconsin… But I knew they could be a tough match-up for Wisconsin because they the Badgers dont score that well, and ole Miss loves to grind it out as well but can definitely score the ball. Henderson got a few to fall when it counted…
I thought Cincy would beat Creighton but they didnt impose their will until it was too late… damn

theprophetParticipantcolorado looked confused and like a bunch of nervous wrecks in the first half. a little surprised it isn’t a close game.

theprophetParticipanteh whatever. i like friendly debate, basketball talk and getting information from this site. points are points. they don’t hurt, but if points were scored like they are in that show around the horn, i might care a little more. the biggest use of points to me is that when you get a thumbs up or down, you are at least being heard.

llperezColorado looked terrible. I watched the last 5 minutes of rhe first half, and not only did they not score a point, they got exactly 1 quality shot up which was a blown layup by askia booker.
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 11:54am #756908
theprophetParticipantand that was an ugly looking lay up.

CAROLINA BLUE NICKParticipantI’m going to go ahead and say I think Florida Gulf Coast will beat Georgetown too as another upset
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 3:38pm #756969
theprophetParticipantthat’s calling a shot like babe ruth pointing which direction he is going to hit a home run! nice one!

theprophetParticipantok, colorado’s back in it.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 12:27pm #756933
CAROLINA BLUE NICKParticipantI have Colorado winning. Hope they finish strong. Does Andre Roberson stay or go pro?
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 12:36pm #756935
theprophetParticipanti have colorado winning in more of my brackets than illinois. i believe roberson goes pro. he should crack the first round imo.

CAROLINA BLUE NICKParticipantDamn my bracket is some sh*t lol. Is anybody watching the FGCU vs. Georgetown playing? If so did Eric McKnight get in foul trouble or did he not start?
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 1:24pm #756945
theprophetParticipantfoul trouble
0
- Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 1:06pm #756939
delfamParticipantthe PG Comer on FGCU, is that the guy that played with Barnes and McDermot in Ames, Iowa? I remember watching him in high school and that kid was very good.
0- Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 5:22pm #756989
Leonard WashingtonParticipantHe was actually Austin Rivers’ sidekick on the Winter Park squad that did pretty well in FLA. He also played on the same AAU team with him Each1Teach1. He’s a hard nosed player that does all the little things to win games.

Lafferty DanielParticipantMcAdoo looking good so far.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 1:44pm #756948
Dale WorthingtonParticipantGeorgetown’s offense is totally awesome!
I missed out on Southern over Gonzaga but I am confident I will pull this one off.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 2:29pm #756953
Malik-UniversalParticipantive noticed a trend that teams with good seeds like FSU last yr… Wisconsin this yr and now Georgetown… that can struggle to score… don’t go anywhere in the tournament…. this is the exact reason y I didn’t have Georgetown anywhere near the final
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 3:03pm #756958
raybeasParticipantGot Gonz and Ariz, and looking like OhioSt winning first round games, with ND v IowaSt still to go, but I had Wisc and New Mex in the E8 and NM in the finals.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 3:18pm #756961
Forte IVParticipantI think it’s safe to say I should just delete any history of my bracket I submitted.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantCalled it.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantDon’t look now but Kansas is only up by 5 against a 16th seed with 5 minutes left in the game.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 6:31pm #756999
Dale WorthingtonParticipantUCLA SO LIEK TOTALLY ROX!
They beat a good team this one time.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/22/2013 - 7:19pm #757003
omphalosParticipantIt’s a damn shame Adams went down, that really hurt UCLA’s rotations and depth; they only used 7 players in their loss and although Bazz wasn’t particularly efficient (20 points on 18 shots) the rest of the team outside of Wear and Parker failed to record more points than FGAs, which says something about this team offense.
It’s a shame Bazz didn’t get a close game in the tourney, but at least he made it there and played the best of his team-mates, even if it wasn’t that great.
Now he can declare for the draft, hire an agent and start getting into the best shape of his life in the leadup to the combine.
