Mad MaxParticipantis Oregon a 12 seed??????????????? They beat UNLV, UCLA, Arizona. They won the Pac-12 which is a good conference, not great, but pretty good, and got a 12??? Colorado has a 10 seed, Oregon is clearly better than Colorado, makes no damn sense. Did the commitee just forget about Oregon and realize and the last moment they had to put them in??? Do they hate Oregon??? At worst, they should have been a 7 seed.

ChewyParticipantsaid on ESPN that they fell in the seedings mainly because of logistics/travel arrangements. You could call BS on that, but that’s what he said.

Sewok15ParticipantAs I told you last week the Pac 12 is weak. The Mountain West is much better. We will see New Mexico take down Arizona…unless Belmont beats U of A which is highly likely.
UNLV plays Cal in the 1st round which actually could be an upset with the Bears moving on. UNLV is an erratic team and I am not sold on Bennett. I am taking Minnesota to beat UCLA in the first round.
It was said that Oregon and Cal would have been 11 seeds it if wasn’t for the logistics. Either way the committee recognized something that many of us knew already and that is that the Pac-12 is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to Power Conferences. I got negged out the butt for calling out the Pac-12 and their slew of mediocre teams a week ago but stand by my opinion.

esperanzafleet69Participantexactly… being in the pac 12 doesnt help, the only 4 ranked teams (at the time of the games) they played were UCLA, arizona, UNLV, and cinci… losing to cinci, with really only beating UCLA by more than 3 points. plus their out of conference schedule was dismal.
