omphalosParticipantI have to admit, a small part of me is really glad this happened.
Not out of any particular enmity towards Calipari or Kentucky, or even this particular crop of kids, but for the benefit of college basketball as a whole. It will be nice to see the freshman talent dispersed a little more evenly than it has been in recent years so we can see what these potential franchise players are like when they are the focal point of a team, not a star amongst stars (for example, MKG wouldn’t have been the number 2 pick on another team, even if he did acquit himself admirably).

TomShoeParticipantKentucky’s 1st game vs. Robert Morris is on right now.
Can Robert Morris pull the upset? It seems possible. Kentucky may not be giving their all.

Ghost01ParticipantAnd as I’ve been saying time and time again, if they miss out on Randle and Wiggins, they may not be too much better next year. That freshman class is more talented than this one, but they still will have little to no experience. Even if a couple of their freshies from this year come back, the Twins, James Young, and Darkari Johnson will all probably start.
