3 No Biases 3ParticipantI said John Wall would be a top 3 PG in his 3rd year in the league after he was drafted….
Although I was dead wrong about that prediction he seems to finally be turning a corner after getting in game shape this year…his leadership qualities and ability to run a team have been very underrated since he was drafted IMO..He loves to win and, regardless of the popular opinion, he plays very unselfishly…
He’s averaged 26.3 pts and 11 asts in his last 3 games…I don’t expect those numbers to be common but I do see him as a 18-22ppg scorer and around 10 apg once finally back and with an improved team…
The most interesting stat: He’s made 5 three’s in his last 4 games including 3 for 3 tonite….thats the total # of 3’s he made the previous 97 games….THAT’S RIGHT 97!!!!
Glad to see him playing well and I hope him and his team can build off of his return for next year!

EntropyParticipantHe jump shot is looking more smoother, but he needs to be consistent. He has had great stretches before but then goes back to old habits.
Lets hope he continues this form.

SubZeroParticipantI hope he can put it all together. He’s my favorite point guard in the league (along with Kyrie, I don’t see how anyone can not love him) and I’ve always thought he has the tools to be great, just needs to fix a few things in his game

IGO4TWParticipantI m really really glad he realised that athleticism can only take you so far in the NBA cause pretty much everyone is athletic.I ve watched some of his games and he seems to have developed a pretty reliable mid range game and frankly that’s pretty much all he needs because if he can consistently make that mid range shot it will open up the lanes for him to drive to the basket easier too.Wizards have a reaaaaaaally strong backcourt tandem right there and they seem to be taking steps in the right direction. They could be a playoff bound team next year
PS:Am i the only one pleasantly surprised by the year Webster has been having in DC?

FastAndFuriousParticipantJohn Wall has so much potential it’s scary, just hope he really reaches it and proves all the doubters wrong, I still don’t see how people can sleep on a guy who career averages are 16,8,4 and only being 22 years old.

JoeWolf1He really is a good distributer. He had a couple hiccups in the past season and a half, but if he can stay healthy, I see no reason why he will not continue to improve. Sometimes we get impatient with guys that make a splash right away, but he hasn’t had a lot of momentum until he came back this year. Since he has been brought along slowly since returning he’s only playing 30 mpg. An adjusted 36 mpg has him dropping 18 ppg and almost 9 apg which would be his best pro season, as his shooting percentages are up too.
I still think he is a legit threat to be a 20/10 PG if he can stay healthy.

thunderjerkParticipantBefore last night, he had hit only nine between this year and last. Definitely an outlier game, but good for him.

ghettosermonParticipantAnother excellent game for Wall tonight, 17 points/11 assists/5 rebounds/3 steals/and a highlight reel block. But when analyzing a Wall game I look at 2 things, shooting percentage and turnovers. He shot 8 for 11 from the field and a respectable only 3 turnovers. Wall definitely has his feet back and is not afraid to go to 100%. Getting hurt is the best thing that could have happened to Wall because it has added so much pace to his game, he is no longer 100%. He should watch Tony Parker, Parker has blazing speed but he understands tempo and when to use his acceleration. If Wall continues to develop in that area he will be deadly.

aamir543ParticipantThe Wizards have been pretty good as of late, they’ve been 12-7 in their past 19 games, Wall is starting to live up to the huge hype of his. I really think he’s turned it around, glad to see a really talented player making the mini-leap in a lost season for his team, I expect him to be an All-Star caliber PG next season, although that’s going to be ridiculously hard considering that there’s D-Rose, Wade, Kyrie, Rondo, Jure Holliday, and D-Will.

EntropyParticipantHe probably be ahead of Irving and Holiday because his team record will be better (most likely), so he might still make it as a reserve. Still too early though.

Bmore_DCParticipantIve seen a lot of tape on him, and a couple games (not many)…i think he has the most upside out of anyone in this years draft…He kinda reminds me of an out-of-shape James Harden. His shot is not fully developed, but his ball-handling has gotten better, and his feel around the rim is very natural. Im also really impressed at his offensive rebounding ability…I think once he gets in better shape and develops a consistent jumper, he can be an all-star at the next level.
