TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantI’m surprised to see Tyreke so high, that’s good for him, numbers don’t tell everything but I don’t get to see many Sacramento games and that’s a good percentage for him.

wrectorParticipantIs there a reason you omitted Kirilenko? 51%

Ghost01ParticipantTyreke has quietly had a bit of a bounce back season. The team hasn’t gotten better, and its not like his stats have jumped, but he has been more efficient.

SiggyParticipantTS is a better efficiency stat since it takes into account 3’s and FTs.
I just don’t know what the equivalent in TS would be to 50% from the field.
Maybe .590?0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/08/2013 - 1:48pm #753610

TallmanNYCParticipantAk47 plays a ton of PF and therefore fair to leave him of this list. Though to be fair Lebron also plays PF a lot.
This is why it was so impressive when Kyrie Irving was shooting 50% almost through his entire first season. No guard had done that since magic. But yes ts% and effective field goal % is much more useful.

wrectorParticipantNot really – Minne has/had Love Cunningham and Williams at the 4 on their depth chart. The only SF they’ve had through the season was Kirilenko, along with some 10-day contract guys since Budinger has been injured.

IknoBall12ParticipantTo me that any guard especially the little guys can shoot over 50% from the field. Especially tony Parker. It makes me think that he really should get more consideration for MVP. Now that’s he’s injured though we can rule that out. Also I had no clue tyre me what shooting his percentage that is great for him considering how he’s shot in the past. And I love how as much shit as people talk about Kobe not being efficient and being selfish he seems to be putting up the best numbers of his career

TallmanNYCParticipantTo be fair, if Kobe had scored with this level of efficiency for any of the last four seasons, then folks wouldn’t be getting on him for all the shots he misses.
This is an impressive resurgence in efficiency, especially considering the guy has to be well into decline in his athletic skills. And while Kobe isn’t take like a lead leaguing number of shots (which I think he did the last two years). But he is still carrying a heavy heavy load of shots and possessions. Very impressive stuff and silencing the doubters.0

phila9012Participantshooting percentage is about 2 things, how well you can shoot(like chandler parsons) and how well you can get to spots for easy shots(like rondo). Tony parker is great at driving into the lane and throwing up a floater or getting his shot around taller players.
