laarethekingsParticipantWatching this game as a Lakers fan you can’t blame Howard when he walks in the off season. Amazing that you can go mins on end and not hear Howard’s name. Kobe goes down they don’t run one play for Howard.

That’s sad.

BigChamp12ParticipantKobe’s keeping them in it right now. Those two 3’s were big time, but he’s making no effort to look at Dwight. He also has to stop trying to split the trap. Just pass it and get it back. Nash has to be tougher when someone hits him with a screen. He’s giving up. On offense he’s struggling but his shot will fall later. Metta World Peace is playing like a bonehead. Dwight is getting hammered on the inside, but he needs to make those buckets when he doesnt get fouled. Doing a good job of cleaning the boards. Earl Clark is playing hard as usual but he’s not playing smart at all.
The Lakers defense is terrible right now. There’s no rotation. Dwight makes the initial rotation and there’s none after that. In transition. Russ and KD are getting what they want. An easy bucket or a trip to the free throw line.

OneBigBucketHeadParticipantNASH DOES NOT HELP THIS TEAM! He’s old, slow and can’t defend. Honestly one of the worst free agent signings of the year. They are much more efficient on both ends of the floor with Blake

FastAndFuriousParticipantOKC is the best team in the West, I don’t see any team in the West beating them in 7.

0 - Posted on: Tue, 03/05/2013 - 6:46pm #752938

IndianaBasketballParticipant@BigChamp12
Offense isn’t the problem for the Lakers. Kobe is making 50% of his shots. Nash has started being more aggressive. Dwight isn’t aggressive.
The problem is defense and defending without fouling.
0- Posted on: Tue, 03/05/2013 - 7:24pm #752945
BigChamp12ParticipantYou’re right. Defense is DEFINITELY the problem. They aint stopping nobody at all… The only difference with Nash is that his shot has started fallen. He took those same shots in the first half and missed. Dwight hasnt had that opportunity. He’s only gotten the ball TWICE this half. If I’m him right now, Im not busting my butt on defense to have only been fed the ball twice this enitre half.
Kobe just drove to the rim and took a wild shot with 3 people contesting instead of just dropping the ball to the side for an easy dunk.. The bigger problem is defense, but there’s some glaring problems on Offense as well right now.

BigChamp12ParticipantThe Lakers have cut the lead…… BUT Kobe is turning into a black hole again. Its been 7minutes passed in the third quarter and 10 of their 15 shots have been 3pointers…. And Dwight Howard hasnt touched the ball, except for when he pulled down a rebound. But I guess everything’s worth it since they’re “coming back”
I honestly dont know if its good or bad

KayjayParticipant36 freethrows, my god. There is no way OKC is fouling that much. I mean the Heat got the most star power in the league and yet the Lakers are on pace to shoot 50 before the night is over. Absolutely insane.

FastAndFuriousParticipantWestbrook wit 34,9,5 with a quarter left, he’s been playing out his mind lately!!! He read that forum where yall was tryna bash him! lol

FastAndFuriousParticipant4real something had to motivate him because he’s really been on a tear seriously.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 03/05/2013 - 7:29pm #752947
BigChamp12ParticipantLOL Kobe just tried to do to much… That spin was so unnecessary …. That’s one of those plays where you pick the ball up, pass it, and get it right back.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 03/05/2013 - 7:35pm #752949
aamir543ParticipantDamn, Serge Ibaka can really stretch the floor, he’s made 46% of his jump shots from 16 feet to the three point line, and has actually made 38% of his now 38 three point attempts. If he can continue to improve that, their offense will be near impossible to stop.
