Wavy BagelsParticipant…because the Phoenix Suns are getting absolutely abused. They’re down by 30 vs the Thunder with the score 83-50 and the Suns are shooting at an catasthrophic 28% from the field. Yikes. Are they the frontrunners for the #1 draft pick?

WolfRobParticipantThat team lacks direction.. I think their plan is just to wait until a good player falls in their lap.

3 No Biases 3ParticipantThey definitely could use a #1 pick but 4 teams currently have worse records….The Cavs, Magic, Wizards, and Bobcats…
Be tough to clip the Bobcats for the worse record..lol

Chilbert arenasParticipantI’ve been rooting for them to tank all year to get a great pick, and rooting against Lakers because we also have their pick. Two lotto picks in this years draft won’t change the franchise but it could help

Wavy BagelsParticipantWhat type of prospects do they target? They have so many needs, I wouldn’t know where to start.

Chilbert arenasParticipantThey aren’t set at any position so best player available with high upside. As long as they don’t take Mcadoo I’m pretty happy. I would like them to get either Marcus Smart Noel or Mclamore with their first pick and Len Goodwin or Robinson III with their 2nd lotto pick.

omphalosParticipantThis is a bad draft to bottom out in, they might miss the Wiggins sweepstakes.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantMaclemore would fit perfect in their system, I think they should target a young big man with their second pick and should look to move Gortat for more picks/young players.

LerinErinParticipantThey are stuck with him for more than 12 million total over the next two seasons. Yuck :((((((

phila9012ParticipantI havent seen the suns play, but Michael beasley is a power forward not a small forward like where minnesota was playing him. If he is doing bad at the PF his more natural position then that really sucks. and even if he is doing bad playing SF it is still bad contract, just not as bad. The suns have wasted so much money on marginal players. I say they blow it completely up and start over and just tank for 2 or 3 years, at least give the fans some hope for the future. Your best 3 players can’t be dudley, dragic, gortat. Dudley is a good role player as in the 6th or 7th best player on the team. Gortat is a good third option, he cant be the focal point of an offense. Dragic is a borderline starting point guard. main point just blow it up phoenix, you aren’t going anywhere with any of these players in their current roles.

Chilbert arenasParticipantWhat is the Suns system anymore? Everyone from those days are gone.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 02/10/2013 - 6:44pm #746308

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantTheir roster is still built to run uptempo so it’s gonna be hard to switch their system up, from the thee games I’ve seen they are still out running

jhbm24ParticipantThey are going to trade gortat for picks like they Gould and I honestly think this is a grey time to start getting close to the bottom of the league. Because no matter who they get with their top 5 pick, they won’t change the team enough to be good. So they get a good player this year. Suck even worse next year and try to get into the what I guess is called, “the wiggins sweepstakes” haha (good name)

mercyman25ParticipantAre a poorly put together team, but there is the posssibly of a quick turn around. After this season they will have the cap space for two max contracts. That and numerous draft picks. Funny thing is the OKey City was in very similar position. A crap team in Seattle with numerous picks, some of them in fact were from the Suns. One more thing only the first two years of Beasleys contract are guarnteed.
As for this draft I think its funny how so many drafts are deemed weak drafts. There are quit a few stars taken that werent even considered future stars in thier own drafts. Nash, Kobe, Boozer. You just never know what gem you will pluck out of the draft, it may take a few years to groom them to thier full potential. And some of the high picks from ‘better’ years wont add up to anything, Oden, Beasley, Williams, Jay Williams, Bobby Hurley, Latner and the list goes on….0 - Posted on: Sun, 02/10/2013 - 9:02pm #746340

Ny2daDeathOFmeParticipantThe cavs should trade for Gortot and Dudley. A front court of Gortot and Varajo sounds good for next season and Dudley can be the starting 3.
PG.Kyrie Irving
SG.Dion Waitors
SF.Jared Dudley
PF.Anderson Varajo
C.Marcin Gortot
6th.Triston Thompson
7th.Tyler ZellerThey could make the playoffs next year

frogmanParticipantThat’s all well and good but for them to trade for Gortat and Dudley they have to, you know, give up something.
