    Larry Brown says he wouldnt mind working with iverson again and the cats need a scorer, and with there descent defence iverson wont need to do much more than score, and lead.

    is it gonna work ?

    or is there a better place for iverson?

    thoughts please….

    Iverson would work well in New York. The knicks have no leadership and no go-to guy when their offense gets stagnant.

    Iverson should sign with the cats

    Looks pretty good on both sides of the court

    draft earl clark and you got a team that could maybe finish about 6th in the east

    i’ve seen first hand in philly for year the iverson & brown show. I don’t think that larry wants to deal with him. and in ny the coach wouldn’t let stephon see the floor him and a.i are the same type of player. so i don’t know where he would end up

    Bobcats need to keep getting younger. Iverson would be a terrible fit. No need to add another small guard who can score. Iverson maybe could fit with the Suns or Mavs a team that is looking to make one last deep playoff run.

    If the Bobcats do sign Allen Iverson, I still do not see it working. Cleveland had LeBron James teamed with a midget backcourt, and they rocked the regular season, but were man handled come play-off time. The Felton/Iverson/Augustin backcourt would get manhandled on defense, plus their frontcourt to me still leaves something to be desired. They might be a team that comes close to cracking the play-offs, but nothing past that. Basically, Iverson is not “the Answer” for the Bobcats.

      Given his bad attitude and unwillingness to take a lesser role for the good of the team, AI’s best bet is to be the big scorer on a bad team that is either rebuilding or preparing for the future. Maybe a 1 year contract with the Knicks might work, where he becomes the go to guy in 2009-10 for a marginal team, and then get his salary off the books for the 2010 free agent run.

      As for a contender, he needs to change his attitude about not being willing to come off the bench. At this point in his career, all he provides is points and he can’t even do it too well anymore against the younger athletes. He would have been great off the bench as the designated scorer of the 2nd team of a contender.
