Michael.S.ParticipantRicky Rubio-his point guard skills are top-grade,his vision is uncanny, and he sees plays deveop before they happen. He has extraordinary youth, supreme gifts, demonstrable professionalism and potential to be great.Rubio isn’t a great scorer but that part of his game is still developing, like many young players coming into the nba his jumper isn’t great(CP3,Derrick Rose,Rajon Rondo,ect.).I think when his offensive game is at its peak he can be a 13-16 ppg playerbecause of his IQ and his ability to lull the defender to sleep on O,his quickness or athleticism isn’t top notch but its good,he can dunk fairly easily and his speed is under-rated.This kid is bursting with potential, and he’s still extraordinarily young.
John Wall- it is impossible for one man to keep him out of the lane.He is the fastest guard in America from end line to end line with the ball, and one of the most athletic players ever.He probably has the most potential of any player since lebron, and if he improvs his jumper he can be unstopable.he has good vision and is better at creating for others by creating off the drive or on the break. He is one of the most creative finishes around the rim sits basically impsiisble to stop him if he drives.
Brandon Jennings-His talent and creativity with the ball were always evident in games, as he sees the floor and is capable of making incredibly difficult passes look easy,A superb ball-handler with either hand and one of the quickest and most athletc guards ever,it is extermely hard to keep him out of the lane and he’s a good finisher around the rim and will get even better as his frame fills out.
Who would you rather have?

grizz_fan7Participantdepends on what kind of players/team you have

Knicksboy34ParticipantWE NEED TO SLOW DOWN ON JOHN WALL…..let him play in college 1st before we call him the next great PG

mb6297I also prefer John Wall although it may be too soon to judge. Let’s see what he does at Kentucky.
But based on athleticism, size and potential, John Wall is a better prospect.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantJohn Wall~ his game is made for the NBA.

Knicksboy34Participantyea…every superstar we seen in HS game looks NBA ready but we honestly need to slow down. I mean, I seen people talking about him as a top 10 NBA in 3 years…i mean lets give it some time to let the man get drafted 1st.

Meditated StatesParticipantI think he has more potential than both based on size and athletic ability, but I need to see what he does in college b4 I take him over both.

Michael.S.ParticipantJohn Wall is really 6’1 and he might be more athletic than Jennigs

Michael.S.Participantall i no is the usa team had him at 6’1

JNixonParticipantHe’s not 6’1…but he is the player I would want between the 3

Mr.Duke 1426ParticipantJohn Wall a a legit 6-3 with shoes. But his wingspan and athletecism make him seem taller. Rivals and Scout had an article about questions on his height. Apparently he was measured a t a camp and is 6-2.25(no shoes) and 6-3.25(with shoes) you need to be a member for Rivals but I’m not sure for Scout.

knicksfreakParticipantAt this point, you’d be taking a chance on all 3 of these players. Like me, most of you have probably only seen youtube clips of these players. I am a firm believer that teams need a superstar to succeed and I think John Wall has the best chance to be one. The guy is amazing. He moves like Rose with more confidence and flair and has a knack for finishing around the basket just like D-Wade. From the highlights, he looks like a combination of the best of Wade and Rose. I’d be willing to trade the whole Knicks team for Wall but I’m not even sure Jennings or Rubio are the best in this draft. That being said, I’d like the Knicks to get Jennings this year because he has star potential and theres probably no chance we can even pray to draft Wall.

Stanford hoopsParticipantnone of us can say if hes 6’1 or 6’4 because he hasnt been mesured ( well usa team thing mesured him and he was 6’1)…so people need to stop with the saying that hes 6’4 just because you want him to be that tall….in truth when he stood next to avery bradley in the mcdonalds game they looked near the same height( wall had him by a inch) and bradley is 6’1….anyway i dont think we can put him in the disscussion yet because he hasnt played any college ball yet( better comp) the teams he played against in highschool werent that good and the hs stars he played against arent there definsively as the guards will be in college( although in the mcdonals game he did have trouble going past bradley and ive read he has had problems when bradley guards him..but on another note bradley is the top defense guards out of the top guards)…as far as jenning and rubio we just have to wait and see rubio has to adjust to the nba game..doing what he did over in europe is alot different then doing it here..the same with jennings although his adjustment period wont be as long because he grew up playing the american type of game….im not sure if some of yall remeber though but jennings is very very athletic so i wouldnt come out and just say is alot more athletic then jennings or say hes the fastes guy in the world from endline to endline( thats actually pretty premature and dumb the more i think about it) since he hasnt faced real still comp yet

tbird26pParticipantIf John Wall declared for the draft and was able to be drafted he would be for sure gone by number 4. If he didn’t go to 5 years of high school maybe he would be a challenger for the number one pick right now. OKC Thunder would be very open to drafting Wall and most likely would have.

HaleParticipantI have seen him play plenty of times, he is special. I think he will prove that this year at Kentucky. His vision and ballhandling are dynamic and he is a great playmaker overall. He is so unselfish in a Derrick Rose way where he needs to force the issue to score more. He should go number 1 next year.

ncballerWall is a legit 6’4″ I have stood next to him. However i agree this hype needs to stop with him. I saw him play at the HS level and he has a ton of potential and should be a great nba guard. People are going to knock on him cuz there will be times his freshman year when he looks human because HE IS. If you ask me Derrick Rose was a full notch ahead of him at this stage.
That being said at the peaks of their careers give me Wall.

NEPParticipantI’ll take my man Jennings. Most of you have gone Wall crazy a little early. You don’t have to be a super athlete to be a great player in the NBA. Chris Paul, Derron Williams and Steve Nash are proving that right now. I wouldn’t say that any of those guys are elite athletes. Jennings jusr knows how to play the game. His jumpshot was woahfully underrated. That 55(21-34 from the field) point explosion proved that. A knock on most players like Jennings would be streakiness. Something I haven’t seen much of from him. Wall could be great, Rubio will at least be a solid starter. Just give Jennings his do. Respect what he has already accomplished.

lalailaParticipanti still would have big question who i will take between “crazy” Jennings and Wall..just impossible that he will shoot 55% from 3 over 50 from the field all season long, and Wall is underrated shooter, so debate is alive, just Jennings proves that he is not worse(offcourse FOR NOW he proves he is better by far)..
and Rubio is just offtopic there imo lol0 - Posted on: Wed, 12/16/2009 - 12:35am #238995

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantDon’t even think about comparing John Wall or Derrick Rose to Dwyane Wade.. Wade’s playing style is Michael Jordan-esque. If you’ve never seen Michael play.. You wouldn’t know.

desperate for the next big thing I guess lol…
