MelParticipantI say we draft Teague if he’s available. I really like his game. I remember early in the season when he lit up Lawson for 34 pts. Its not his fault Wake dropped off at the end. When he was the starting point they were ranked #1 then the injured point guard came back and they moved him to the 2-guard. Its not his fault!!!
If he were running the show the entire season they probably would have stayed in the top15 in the polls. Had he AND Wake not finished off the season like they began, he’d the a top 4 PG.

Untouchable JParticipantI almost forgot about Ish Smith coming back. Maybe that was why they fell off. I have Teaugue going in that range but earlier or to Minny at 18

auberParticipantI think he’d be a great fit, but he’s a fool for staying in this year. His stock will greatly improve next season.

butidonthavemoneyI don’t like Teague very much but he would be a great fit for Atlanta. Especially if Bibby leaves. If he stays in the draft, he will most likey be a Hawk.

RUDEBOYI HEARD FROM SOME PEOPLE IN THE BAY AREA..THAT IF RUBIO IS GONE GOLDEN STATE WANTS TEAGUE

butidonthavemoneyRubio will not fall to 7. Teague is quite a reach for Golden State. It won’t happen.

iguapops420Participant^^^Of course Rubio will be gone, and i doubt they want teague unless they plan on trading Monta. Teague’s fll off was due to being moved back to the two guard. He like Holiday are best with the bll in their hands. Not playing off ball trying to either post up, set up in a corner or repetitively coming off screns trying to get open for a jumper. Not Teague’s Game. Remember when Dallas tried to move Terry to off the ball andhave Devin Harris running theshow. Didnt work because Terry is a rythm guy similar to Teague.

gatorheelsParticipantI heard that Maynor destroyed Teague when they played against each other in their workout at Golden State…there were quite a few teams in attendance. I’m not sure if Atlanta had their scouts there or not.??

joecheck88Participanti think he could work in atlanta and i have him available at 19 too. in my moch i have him in new orleans at i think 21 to be a scorer off the bench like jannerro pargo did last season. but i heard pargo might come back. if bibby leaves and the last or the top pgs r gone, atlanta should grab him. i have atl taking lawal at this point because he has size, athleticism, and is a local guy. but teague is taking a risk if he stays in because he could definately drop if he isnt taken by around 21 or 22.

QHaynes123I have him at 17…I think he could fit PHI good as well.

Johnny_HazeltineParticipantWhy do we pretend Jeff Teague is anything but a right-handed Acie Law?! No Jeff Teague to Atlanta. Oh, and why wasn’t it at least partly Teague’s fault that Wake tanked at the end of the season? He’s your lead guard. If anybody should be to blame, it should be your lead guard.

IndianaBasketballParticipantTeague is A LOT more explosive than Acie Law. Teague IS a pg. He’s just not a PURE pg. He’s a SCORING pg. He was a scoring pg in high school. He improved his pg skills at Wake, but still has a way to go… Still has a lot to learn. I honestly think he could use ONE more year at Wake to gain more experience running a team. However, I can’t blame him for staying in the draft considering he’ll be a 1st round pick. I think he’ll be a better pro, than college player.
I’ve had the opportunity to watch Teague for a LONG time & I think he has a lot of upside. 1st, he’s tough minded, fearless, super competitive & hungry. 2nd, he’s EXTREMELY coachable. 3rd, he has one of the quickest 1st steps I’ve ever seen. 4th, he’s extremely athletic w/ sticky handles & an improving jumpshot.
I’m not sure that Philadelphia would be a great fit for Teague considering new coach Eddie Jordan said the team’s offense will revolve around Elton Brand next season (which basically means not as much running). Teague will flourish on a team that pushes the tempo. I think he’d fit great in Atlanta.

iguapops420ParticipantTeague should take part of the blame for WF crumbling late in the season since he was part of the team. But he shouldn’t take all of it because he WAS NOT their lead gard when they strated to play bd. The starting point had come back and that, like i posted prior, pushed Teague to th shooting guard which IS NOT hs position whether it’s th scoring guard position or not. He’s a point guard, not a combo guard. A scoring point in the mold most similar of Tony Parker.

KiD MaGiC973Participanti think he would be good fit too but he needs a vet to teach him to be a better pg
