Womens soccer and tennis players make a lot more endorsements and are more visable, like everyone knows maria sharapova, serena williams, alex morgan and hope solo, but like three people even remember candace parker exists.
What did you guys think of geno auriema saying he was going to suggest lowering the rims for women? He thinks it will make the game much more popular. I think it is worth talking about.
Think of how dominant Griner would be on a 9ft room though, it’d be a joke.
She’d be the Shaq of women’s basketball. I think I would watch it a bit more of the rims were 9 feet. It still wouldn’t be men’s though. Some women can absolutely sky but I’ve never seen a woman hang in the air like a Jordan or Kobe.
