That is a solid core to build around but they need a PG and C. They aren’t making the playoffs anytime soon which is good because they need a couple more lottery picks ha. They would love to somehow get rid of Baron Davis, Kaman, & Randolph.

Griffin isn’t good enough to carry an NBA team. He needs more help. Thornton and Gordon are good but they aren’t stars.

The teams just a mess, the west is stacked and I wouldn’t be shocked if they ended up with another lottery pick next season. It’s the clippers people!

they have a pg…man yall just throw baron under the bus after one bad injury plauged year..once healthy and back in shape from 2 years ago he will put in work once again..also is 14pts and 8ast 4reb 2stls really that bad for a pg….or are alot of people just repeating what some of the writers say about there opnion of baron?

I’m one who always underplays the numbers and claims we should look at how they perform during a game. However, I just checked out some leaping numbers and noticed something very interesting about Griffin.

There are two vertical jumping scores, one standing still and one where you can take steps. Blake Griffin only had a 3.5 inch difference between the two. I think it was 35.5 max and 32.0 inches standing. I didn’t look at every player, but that small difference was one of the best, if not the best score when comparing the two types of jumps. This probably means he can get up faster for offensive rebounds than his opponent.

One of the surprises was Budinger who had an impressive Max Vertical of 38.5 inches, but his Standing Vertical was approximately 9 inches lower. I don’t know what that means, but it was one of the biggest discrepancies I noticed.

some players cant jump straight up very high off the stand still. even though they can get up pretty high with a running start

One injury plagued season Josh? You must never have owned him in the fantasy game. Excluding 2007 Davis hasn’t played in a full season since 2001. Since Then He’s had 1 season over 70 games, 3 seasons over 60 games, and 3 seasons between 40-59 games. The guys past his prime, but still a solid serviceable point guard at that. The days of him and Stevie Franchise running this league are long gone.

Baron Davis has talent but he is old. The Clippers need a young point guard since they are very young at SG,SF,PF(Griffin). Baron Davis isn’t going to lead this team to the playoffs next year I promise you even with the help of Blake Griffin.
