GoJOSH HUESTISParticipant@PCAAthletics: Julius Randle narrows to 6: Kentucky, NC State, Florida, Texas, Kansas, OU.

TyroberParticipantThat’s still a pretty big list.

JoeyGladstoneParticipantJason Jordan
@JayJayUSATODAY Everyone shocked about Julius Randle dropping Duke & UNC & keeping NC State hasn’t been paying attention. Purvis factor is HUGE.
Hopefully their friendship is enough to get him to join the PACK!

WrecklessParticipantI think it goes down to UK, NC State, and maybe OU with an outside shot.
With Florida already having Chris Walker im pretty sure they are the next out. NC State has done a great job of recruiting lately though. I wouldn’t be surprised if they got him.0 - Posted on: Tue, 10/02/2012 - 12:13pm #717637

MUbballfanParticipantI think it comes down to UK, NC State and Kansas with UK getting him. Wiggins reclassifies and UK ends up with Wiggins, Randle, Harrison twins, to go along with Willis.

JoeyGladstoneParticipantYou do know there is only one ball on the court at a time right?
All those guys are effective with the ball in their hands. No way they all go to the same school.

MUbballfanParticipantCalipari seems to get hig ranked and sometimes selfish players to work together.

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantSometimes I think people forget that the NBA exist or the fact that UK had one ball and great talent last year. All those players are not just scorers and there is plenty of touches to go around. We’re there plenty of touch’s for that UNLV team with all those All Americans? How about Kevin Loves AAU team with all that talent or Dwight Howard’s? How about team USA with all those guys who needed the ball? That’s a very lame excuse. Sorry

Jean_31Participantwiggins and randle in the same team in the same team… thats not fair. I hope they choose different team, they have already a good rivality. Dont underestimates Kansas, Randle had some good words for this team

TRC1991ParticipantI would love to see Randle at Kansas or Texas, his style of play has big 12 written all over it

akhan786ParticipantHe’s going to Kentucky.
WWW told several in London.

theballerwayParticipantI think/hope randle wil go to Texas where he can be the guy, I really cant see him just joining the UK lot(or maybe thats just hope.) Im assuming that Vonleh put him off UNC, Hopefully Perry Ellis will put him of Kansas.
I wonmder how those twins play when there on seperate teams . Say one went UK and one went UM thatd be interesting.

joecheck88ParticipantI’d like to see him at Texas as well. He would shine there and put up Beasley like numbers. Someone said it already but when you see him play it just seems like big 12 ball he plays. It’s not like they are a scrub team either. He could lead them with the players around him to a sweet sixteen or elite 8 as a freshman. I would also hate to see him with Wiggins too. The game of basketball is getting too friendly on all levels. Let us join each other and dominate. Where is the pride of saying, let me see how far I can carry MY team and anyone who thinks they’re on my level.

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantHave to laugh at people thinking WWW is why Cal gets recruits. If that’s the case how come they don’t sign with him after they leave college? Hmmm seems like reality got in the way of fiction
0- Posted on: Wed, 10/03/2012 - 2:33pm #717901

akhan786ParticipantYou can laugh all you want.
Reality is is that WWW is a player in the Randle recruitment. He in fact did tell several in London during the Olympics that Randle was a lock for UK.
However, Calipari at this stage in the game doesn’t really need WWW anymore because Kentucky sells itself now (pretty much a one stop shop NBA D-league where you don’t have to worry about your education and of course you get more benefits here than anywhere else).
Why would you want to go anywhere else if you’re a top 5 recruit? I know I wouldn’t.

SiggyParticipantIMO, if he wants to become a better player after his one year in college he should go to Kansas. Bill Self is the best teacher out of the schools remaining on his list.
