i thought of this trade between the 2, just wondering what you all think

    To TOR:

    4th overall pick
    23rd overall pick
    Kevin Martin
    Jason Thompson

    To SAC

    9th Overall Pick
    Chris Bosh
    Anthony Parker

would Bosh want to stay in Sac-town?
If he was going to leave Toronto why wouldnt he leave Sacrament for a bigger market.
IF he leaves in 2010 offseason then the Kings are even in a worse situation.

Makes no sense for The Kings to do this .. only team who gains here is Toronto .. Petrie is to smart to give up Martin and Thompson and the number 4 and 23 for Bosh for one year….Sac gains nothing from this trade…

Sorry but this is another one sided trade that makes little sense

wins that trade hands down. They get to move up to number 4, add a guy in Thompson who showed serious potential last year, and aquire KMartin who is young and a legitimate 25 ppg scorer. The 23rd pick would be extra icing on the cake for Toronto, especially since Bosh would probably either a)leave in 2010 or b) demand a max contract in order to stay in Sac similar to how Webber did. Bosh is good, but I would’nt break the bank for him. Martin on the other makes a very reasonable 10 mill per for the next 4-5 years. I think that trade is way too lopsided towards Toronto.

Value wise it makes sense but basketball/business wise it’s super dumb on the King’s part for a few reasons 1) Anyone who has watched the Kings closely the last two months of the regular season knows that Thompson and Hawes were quietly on an absolute roll and each are on their way to becoming top 10 at their respective positions. 2) Since they have two developing frontcourt talents, why on Earth would you give up an hot shooting assassin (Kevin Martin) whose scoring average nearly equals his very young age? 3) Bosh is close, but NOT a franchise player (yes I said it, but I’m not the only one) and this will be proven when Bosh signs with a team that has a franchise player.

Why don’t you just trade one team for the other?

Adding Calderon is still absolutely ONE sided nonsense. This I hope will drop off the discussion board shortly ….

Again these trade talks are pointless. If you wan’t to make them happen go see if they work on nba live and let me know what happens.
